169.
Haruki's life began as the son to an ignoble rice farming family. His father was known to be careless with the scarce amount of money that was earned, along with the added benefit of being a notorious alcoholic. Perhaps the greatest tragedy in this was that Haruki's father had a violent temper while under the alluring taste of alcohol. As for the boy's mother? She was perhaps an angel of a woman many years ago, but by the time that Haruki was born she was nothing but a wretched hag of a person that hated others for having a happy life. The other children of the Oshiro family weren't anything to brag about either. The numerous sons were hardly looked after. Some ran away for a better life, others succumbed to starvation, with a few falling victim to tragic beatings that somehow turned into murder from their parents. Then of course, there were the boys sisters. Unfortunately for them, almost all were sold away to pay for numerous gambling debts. Which, in their defense, was probably the safest of all things for them. Considering how their brothers turned out at least.
 170.

 171.
 172.
Needless to say, Haruki did not have an ideal childhood. Even the pan handling children of Owari would sooner bless themselves for only being homeless rather than have to deal with such an ordeal every day. For thirteen some odd years the youngest of the family, and just about the only child who was still there, did as he parents commanded. Whether that was tend the fields so the two could do whatever it is adults did when alone or just try to snatch a fresh fish from the nearby market. It didn't matter to the boy's family, they cared for themselves, not the offspring that would have been better off drowned in a river. It was not until the next year of Haruki's life that he decided to rid himself of the parasite that was his family. Sure, being a child vagabond was far from luxurious, but it was still better than being beaten into unconsciousness on any given night of the week.

 173.
 174.
His journey was done in a somewhat subtle manner. Subtle for a child at least. The boy waited for both parents to fall into a drunken stupor in their small shack of a home. After which, he quickly gathered up what little valuables were in the house, if it could be called that, and ran into the night. There was nothing cunning of the plan, because there was no plan. Haruki had just decided to do this while he had the chance. So with a knapsack full of garbage, he picked one of the many ships that were docked at Owari at random. For better or worse, this one happened to be destined to port in Taejong.

 175.
 176.
Taejong was a fascinating place for someone that had spent their entire life in Suizei. Though it was still incredibly rough. Regardless of such a fact, the city was unable to consume Haruki and leave him for dead. Instead, the boy overcame many of the hardships that were thrown his way. From surviving by joining trifling street gangs to mugging fragile old women. It didn't really matter to him. Where there once might have been the capability for Haruki to become a proud young man full of integrity and honor, that ideal citizen was demolished from the day he was born. Instead, there was only a man who had adapted to whatever life had thrown his way. Surviving was all that he knew. Fortunately, surviving also coincided with collecting bounties for the law enforcement officials of Taejong. Though it was only by coincidence than out of the goodness of his heart. So while he might capture and sometimes eliminate the vast number of criminals, it does not put him above breaking the law to get what he wants.

 182.
Skills

 183.
 184.
Backstreet Brawler - Haruki is far from a professionally trained fighter. While he might lack that underlying skill, he more than makes up for this by taking every advantage he can. A knee to the crotch, glass in someones eye, or any underhanded tactic in existence. This along with getting into a number of street alley fights has made the man more than capable of holding his own against most in close quarters.

 185.
 186.
Street Savvy - Black markets, gambling dens, whore houses, and more, it doesn't really matter. Haruki has an in-depth knowledge of where numerous illegal places are on the streets and how to get into them. Not that it's every benefited anyone but himself.

 187.
 188.
Shady Shooter - Haruki has a great affinity for small arms of all kind. However, his true skill shows when using smaller weapons such as handguns. In any case, the man is a crack shot in tight spaces and murky surroundings. While out in the open he might not be the best, he's still a formidable foe. Though once in the cozy confines of a city, he's nearly unparalleled

 189.
 190.
Backdoor Bandit - Stealing is something that mankind has done and known about since nearly the dawn of time. Unfortunately, it's not really an art that has needed to adapt over the years when there are always easy targets around. Haruki however has learned many new tricks to allow him to rob the wealthy and well guarded. Some of those skills are expressed in his ability to parkour in the streets of Taejong and being able to get into places where entrances were never known to exist. Other things are still kept a secret.

 196.
Inventory

 197.
 198.
Modified Pistol x2 - A set of mismatched pistols that were clearly bought on separate occasions. One is re-chambered to accept .50 Action Express Rounds, semi automatic. The other is an auto-pistol chambering 9mm rounds, sporting an extended magazine. Perfect for suppressing foes, but hardly for blasting through anything except wooden planks.

 199.
 200.
Short Barreled Shotgun x2 - Upon closer inspection, it's obvious that the barrels of these shotguns were sawn off by a crude device. Made for easy concealment and chambers highly illegal 8-gauge shells.

 201.
 202.
Metal Zip-ties - In times were bounties are captured alive for whatever reason, these ties are perfect for securing someone. Not to mention they also dig into the skin, making escape an uncomfortable experience.

 203.
 204.
Personal Digital Assistant - A simple device used to keep track of outstanding warrants listed by police officials, bail skippers, and any other worthwhile listings for armed security.

 205.
 206.
Steel Mesh Kevlar - This lightweight set of clothing serves to lessen the impact from the kinetic force of small arms and protect the wearer from blunt force trauma. While not as great as a hulking suit of armor, it makes for a fine balance nonetheless.

 212.
Qi

 213.
 214.
Gambler's Tell (Heavenly, LV1) - Haruki possesses an impressive perception in regards to things in the physical realm that are near his general vicinity. Little things like the flick of a hand or stretches are acutely able to be picked up by the this bounty hunter. Sometimes it's just used to cheat in poker, and other times it allows him to shoot a would be attacker before the opposition can draw their own weapon. While it doesn't allow him to predict the future in any sense, it does let Haruki prepare, even just momentarily, for what is immediately about to happen. Often times it's the little things that lead to the big things happening.

 215.
 216.
Bullet Drizzle (Earthly, LV1) - While some might expect an easily noticeable use of Qi, Haruki takes a more subtle approach where possible. For instance, whenever the man fires his weapons off, an extra round or two manages to find itself firing out of the barrel for the duration of this Qi skill. The average person might not notice it, but being able to turn a glancing shot into a fatal wound thanks to an extra bullet is invaluable in Haruki's line of work. (When activated this ability lasts until the weapon of choice has to be reloaded)

 217.
 218.
All Skill (Earthly, LV1) - Sometimes being an inch off is what can cost a man his life. Fortunately in Haruki's case, this is hardly an issue with him. Where a normal shot might have just missed because a variety of reasons, when Qi is forced into the equation, suddenly a skilled shooter can become an even more terrifying foe. When activated, the man's bullets suffer little to no effect from the weather conditions and auto compensate for any errors in trajectory. This doesn't allow a shot to curve around a corner and hit someone or fly after it's target for miles. Instead, it allows Haruki to be far more accurate when shooting hasty in closer quarters.

 219.
 220.
Tough Times (Earthly, LV1) - Ammo is always an issue no matter who you are. It's a necessity whenever firearms are involved in an equation. Sure, the weapons are deadly, but without anything to shoot, they're just metal bricks. Haruki has his life a little easier however. The man's Qi works to reload any empty magazines with a suitable nearby material (Within a arms distance). When activated, a nearby object is partially converted into ammunition. The practical use of this varies. Sometimes metals on par with regular ammunition are taken, other times it's just plastic and garbage. Most times materials only have a handful of their matter taken for the conversion, as bullets are relatively small objects.
