- Disc 1/2/3
- *) The party can be talked to in towns, with their dialogue changing after Meteor is summoned and then again on Disc 3. Characters recruited later will appear in earlier towns.
- Disc 1/2/3
- *) 1/35 Soldiers
- In Mythril Mines, you'll find in the back-room (up from where the Turks were encountered) a black-caped NPC and a small soldier item
- on the floor. If you find all 12 1/35 Soldier items and give them to the black-caped NPC, he'll give you a new Materia. The locations
- of the 1/35 Soldiers can be found in the Documentation folder, at the bottom of the Item & Materia Placements file. Some are missable.
- Disc 1/2/3
- *) 3D Battler
- The minigame has been adjusted to be winnable, with the odds adjusted for each round and the final '6th' round (which is actually a script error) removed. Something happens when the 5th round is cleared.
- Disc 1
- *) Gongaga
- A bugged scene involving Barret can be seen when leaving Gongaga's main town if he is in the party.
- Disc 1/2/3
- *) Gold Saucer
- If the Barret date is selected (can be chosen, or left up to player's accumulated date points), then he will now participate in the play.
- Disc 1
- *) Aeris or Ribbon
- Depending on the outcome of the battle with Jenova LIFE, Aeris will be retained as a party member. During the battle, the boss will revive Aeris who starts attacking the party. If she is KO'd, then she will be lost and the part will receive a Ribbon after the battle (this is the only one in the entire game, and is the same as the default game Ribbon; blocks most status ailments). Alternatively, if Aeris survives the battle then she will be kept as a fully-scripted party member with scene involvement, etc. The story is adjusted in places to help this fit, but does not overly deviate from the original progression of events.
- Disc 2/3
- *) Silver(?) Chocobo
- In the Great Glacier, you'll find a suspect Silver Chocobo sitting on a log bridge (area that is close to the middle of the map).
- Bring a nice selection of Greens and Nuts to feed it.
- Disc 2/3
- Materia Caves
- *) Each cave has a boss guarding it.
- Disc 3
- *) Party Leader Swap
- After reaching the bottom of the North Crater, a party leader swap option is unlocked and can be found in the Operations Room of the Highwind.
- *) Masamune
- To make this weapon, which can be equipped by any character (will take the form of their starting weapon), talk to the weaponsmith in the blue house on the world map near Gongaga. He needs some items to create the sword, the locations of which are in the documentation.
- *) Omnislash & Great Gospel
- Return to the Shinra Basement and watch the Zack flashback, a special battle will take place and if Aeris is still with the party there will be an extra addition to the end of the scene.
- *) Catastrophe
- Return to Kalm and talk to Barret in the Weapon Shop; he should have Marlene with him. After a brief scene, you'll get Catastrophe.
- *) Missing Score
- Head for Corel Reactor on Mt. Corel with Barret.
- *) Premium Heart
- A rare scene in the base game involves Cid repairing the vending machine, which dispenses a weapon for Tifa. It is rarely seen as the specific party composition of Cloud, Tifa, and Cid is needed to trigger it. A script revision makes this scene play out, and the scene itself has been rescripted.
- *) Cave of the Gi
- Return to Cosmo Canyon and watch the Bugenhagen death scene. Red XIII will receieve a key allowing access to the Cave of the Gi, which now hosts stronger variants of the monsters inside it. At the end is a boss, and after this a scene will play at Seto's Wall; the scene varies slightly depending on party leader. Limited Moon and Cosmo Memory are obtained through this cave.
- *) All-Creation & Conformer
- Return to the Pagoda with Yuffie and engage Godo in a rematch. After this, you'll get Leviathan Scales and the Conformer. Head to the Sacred Fire Cave on Da Chao, try to pick up the Materia, and engage in another boss for All-Creation.
- *) Temple of the Ancients
- Head for the temple ruins, to find some shifty Cait Siths hanging around. Talk to the one closest to the entryway on the 2nd screen who eggs you on to jump into the portal down below. Jump in, and, well...
- *) Secret Boss
- Some clues exist with certain NPC dialogue that point to playing a melody on the Shinra Mansion piano, which can be found on the ground floor in the west wing. This piano is missing a key, making it more difficult to play the song by ear but if the melody usually used on Tifa's piano is played here it will unlock a secret boss in the main hall.
