  1. <p>To be used for either Mediation Presentations or Demand Packages. These would NOT be admissible at trial.</p>
  2. <p>These 20-25 minute documentary-style videos contain three distinct sections:</p>
  3. <p>
  4. 1. The decedent's life before                                                       <br />
  5. 2. Accounts of the Fatal Incident or Medical Misdiagnosis                           <br />
  6. 3. The damage to the family members left behind and the struggles to move forward.  <br />
  7. </p>
  8. <p>They can be comprised of  interviews with spouses, children, family members, co-workers, friends,<br />experts and psychiatrists.  This creates a portrait, told through several anecdotes, of where your client<br />was in their life/family/community/career before their untimely death, the struggles with the loss, and<br />concerns for the future.  These tend to focus more on the damages rather than the liability</p>
  9. <p>It can also include pre-existing home video footage, photos of the decedent, existing news footage,<br />police reports and any accident animation that can be provided.</p>
  10. <p>Unfortunately, when someone has died,  they just become a set of actuary numbers.<br />The fact that they were a human being who was an integral part of their families and communities gets lost in all the paperwork.<br />By creating a video that brings the decedent "back to life" through personal recollections, photos, and home video.<br />Defense counsel and claims adjusters can now see the decedent as a human being.<br />This get cases to settle at higher numbers.</p>
