  1. [04:56] Grendel Beo says, "This is a... Troubling, situation. So many different actions that can shake up the balance. I won't be surprised if the knights would try to use the shards too, should they possess some of them."
  2. [04:56] Miran Tsuchai says, "I wouldn't put it past them. I've been sharing this story of soitiras and indras with people I believe are powerful and rational enough to prepare for the threat but- every single one so far has at least floated the idea of using it themselves"
  3. [04:57] Miran Tsuchai says, "It is maddening how much the promise of power will blind people"
  4. [04:58] Grendel Beo says, "Power is something people often yearn for, especially in times of war."
  5. [04:59] Grendel Beo says, "The offer for immediate power, to use for your own end? Is indeed tempting."
  6. [05:00] Miran Tsuchai says, "It is. I.. can't pretend that even I didn't feel compelled to grab for the shard, once the tomb's guardians were disposed of"
  7. [05:01] Grendel Beo asks, "Who grabbed it, then?"
  8. [05:02] Miran Tsuchai says, "One of the snake-clan working for the tower loyalists, they now possess the shard. Which- is not a particularly good thing, given they're the faction intending to fight not only the other demons and the knights, but Theria and Moonfall as well"
  9. [05:03] Grendel Beo says, "I'll ask around moonfall to learn more about the would be ''tower loyalists''. Get a clearer understanding of who belongs to what."
  10. [05:03] Grendel Beo says, "For now, it may be best to wait and see. Someone would eventually discover another shard if they keep searching for it I believe, and another fight over it would start."
  11. [05:05] Miran Tsuchai says, "I believe each shard may contain a portion of the monster's consciousness, as well. In that case, I imagine it will lead those with the shards to more anyway"
  12. [05:05] Miran Tsuchai says, "But- yes, there's very little we can do right now"
  13. [05:07] Grendel Beo says, "If so, then perhaps it may be ideal to keep the shards seperated, even if they are held by different people."
  14. [05:07] Grendel Beo says, "I am less fond of relying on war for balance's sake, but it seems to be the ideal route to take."
  15. [05:07] Grendel Beo says, "-Continous war, I should clarify."
  16. [05:08] Miran Tsuchai says, "Ideally with the knights, the slayers, both demon factions, the witches and theria's council all aware of the shards, at the very least self interest may keep them in seperate hands"
  17. [05:08] Miran Tsuchai says, "But.. I suppose you're right, that continuous war is not ideal."
  18. [05:10] Grendel Beo says, "Doesn't mean that I should stop fighting, though, considering I am supposed to embody nature's wrath."
  19. [05:12] Grendel Beo says, "It's... Going to be tough, however. I won't be surprised if once Osrona falls, I'll be in conflict of interest with the rest of demonkind."
  20. [05:13] Miran Tsuchai says, "I.. think we all will, if- or, when- that happens. Very few people in power have foresight anymore"
  21. [05:13] Grendel Beo says, "Seems so. Most are acting without thinking much ahead."
  22. [05:13] Miran Tsuchai says, "I'm.. doing my best, to course correct them, where I can. I just- I hope there can be more than just bloodshed until there's nothing left to bleed"
  23. [05:14] Grendel Beo says, "Even the other one on the village who seeks to learn about druidism, wanted to take the path of wrath without thinking of the burden it entails. So, she ended up taking the path to uphold nature's peace, while despising me for making her do it"
  24. [05:15] Miran Tsuchai says, "Ah, the girl with light hair and no shoes, correct? She's taken the right path, I think"
  25. [05:16] Miran Tsuchai says, "To embroil yourself in wrath is.. tiring."
  26. [05:17] Grendel Beo says, "A path that... Might not suit her. True, she may have mostly barked without acting, but the path of peace... Is something that seems to be against her interests. I suspect that once I'll eventually fall, she'll be the one that would have to take my place."
  27. [05:18] Grendel Beo says, "Which, in part, is why I thought about helping with your training. I believe that when that time comes? You'll be better suited to uphold that peace, while she takes the path of wrath."
  28. [05:19] Miran Tsuchai says, "I- certainly wouldn't count yourself out so soon. But- I would be honoured to have assistance. I've spent... a very long time, chasing peace"
  29. [05:19] Grendel Beo says, "Then, when you next come to moonfall? Seek me out. I'll see what I can do."
  30. [05:19] Grendel Beo says, "It may be problematic for me to get Reid to come as well, but... Just in case, I'll prefer that you both would learn with one another."
  31. [05:21] Miran Tsuchai says, "I suppose we could learn much from one another, if her training has come alongside yours"
  32. [05:22] Miran Tsuchai says, "My launching point was from one who embodies wrath, but- I can't presume, but your own seems to have been born from a less violent place"
  33. [05:22] Grendel Beo says, "She was with me for the ritual, after all. I do not know how well I can teach, but at the very least? I hope I'll be able to renew the druid circle."
  34. [05:23] Miran Tsuchai says, "I do as well, the world could use druids in times like these"
  35. [05:24] Miran Tsuchai asks, "I suppose I must ask, though- how did that ritual fair?"
  36. [05:25] Grendel Beo says, "The ritual? The ritual was done to get into contact with the spirits. We have done it in a place "The Resting Woods", where druids cometo join into the ancient trees in the area, for an eternal slumber. It proved successful."
  37. [05:26] Grendel Beo says, "We've managed to get into contacts with the spirits, and were shown visions: Vision of the past of Eshhar, before the creation of Osrona. Lush with forest and filled with nature, unspoiled natural growth."
  38. [05:27] Grendel Beo says, "The other vision, however, should be taken as a warning: Of what would happen should Osrona win, or perhaps others who treat nature as nothing but disposable resource."
  39. [05:29] Miran Tsuchai says, "Huh. An interesting parallel of it's own, I suppose, that through our different drives towards druidism, we've both been subject to visions."
  40. [05:29] Miran Tsuchai says, "Your path appears more... intended? Traditional, perhaps"
  41. [05:30] Grendel Beo says, "It is fitting in a way. It is part of how the spirits can communicate."
  42. [05:30] Grendel Beo says, "What I've seen, was a scary, worrying sight... An Esshar where the natural world has been torn and abused. Where stone and brass is used for structures. When trees are used to full men's devices, filling the world with smoke and ash."
  43. [05:31] Grendel Beo says, "The spirits that have used to live on Esshar vanishing away, leaving our existance."
  44. [05:32] Miran Tsuchai says, "Hm. That is... a dark world, I hope such an image doesn't weigh on your mind. I suppose the spirits must believe the two of you to be capable of preventing such a bleak outcome, to show such a warning"
  45. [05:35] Grendel Beo says, "It is a possibility. The spirits aren't known for being the most direct, considering they've relied on riddles to test us."
  46. [05:37] Grendel Beo says, "I should take my leave, attempt to head back to Moonfall without getting into conflict with the knights on the way. Knowing them, they have a tendency to walk in groups."
  47. [05:37] Miran Tsuchai says, "I suppose that would make sense, what i've dealt with so far has been abstract tasks that I needed to understand and undergo"
  48. [05:37] Miran Tsuchai says, "Ah- that's probably for the best, though"
  49. [05:37] Grendel Beo says, "Perhaps when you are at Moonfall, you can tell me more. I'll take my leave for now. Take care of yourself in the meantime."
  50. [05:37] Miran Tsuchai says, "Oh- before you go"
  51. [05:38] Miran Tsuchai says, "After the wolves sought after you, I spoke of you highly to a friend I have amongst the demon slayers"
  52. [05:39] Grendel Beo asks, "...Among, the demon slayers?"
  53. [05:39] Grendel Beo asks, "Who are they, exactly?"
  54. [05:39] Miran Tsuchai says, "The blackwatch, therians who took up the mantle after the... unrest, here"
  55. [05:40] Grendel Beo says, "Ah. I heard of that name, once. I do not believe I'll be able to join them though. I still have my loyalties to Moonfall, after all."
  56. [05:40] Miran Tsuchai says, "Red wolf, their leader, took a liking to you as i'd described. While you may not need to seek solace amongst his warriors anymore, just.. be aware, if you're approached by a man in black clad armor, he's likely a friend, not a knight"
  57. [05:41] Miran Tsuchai says, "Oh- of course, no need to join them"
  58. [05:41] Grendel Beo says, "Hmm... I'll keep that in mind, then."
  59. [05:42] Miran Tsuchai says, "Ah, of course. Have a safe return, Grendel"
  60. [05:42] Grendel Beo says, "Very well, take care."
