People involved in multiple coups and coup attempts are directing an NGO that has been funding political opposition in Ukraine for years.

[It's got people like Elliot Abrahams from PNAC](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century#Associations_with_Bush_administration) amongst others and members of the elite US foreign policy think tank, [The Council On Foreign Relations](http://www.cfr.org/about/people/board_of_directors.html) which is full of warmongers and financial investment groups. Victoria Nuland (Robert Kagan's wife, PNAC, no coincidence) was caught talking about picking certain politicians in Ukraine with the US diplomat to Ukraine which circumvents the people of Ukraine's votes and democracy.

 

[An apparently bugged phone conversation in which a senior US diplomat disparages the EU over the Ukraine crisis has been posted online. The alleged conversation between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, appeared on YouTube on Thursday. In the media, the phone call was framed around Ms Nuland saying "fuck the EU" but stopped short of providing the full context which shows them discussing manoeuvring themselves into changing or picking certain people to be in Ukraine's politics.

[Then there's another video](http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37599.htm) of Victoria Nuland giving a speech about how the US has invested $5 Billion in Ukraine for the 'development of democracy'.

 

You could go quite far back and quote Zbigniew Brzezinski and see what he thought about Ukraine and it's importance to the US.
