- I kinda made up the questions
- Age: 14
- Why do you want this job/Why should we choose you over other applicants??: I would like to become a staff because I love helping people and making them them and enjoy their Minecraft experience, as staff of my first few servers I played on were helping and supportive towards me, I think that's why I am able to be playing today.I believe I would do a good job as a Helper since I have always been a keen worker and am motivated by my passion for the game, and also for interacting with other people all around the globe. I enjoy serving players and, I believe that I am able to apply my skill set to particular situations while achieving complete player satisfaction and enjoyment. I love to share my knowledge with others, in any kind of department. If accepted, I would guarentee 100% dedication and focus to the tasks I am given, thinking first on the server, and only then on me, in a constant pursuit of it's greater good. I can offer a very active Staff Member that can help any player with any doubt that might exist, and I pledge that even not knowing the answer to a problem, I would do my best to find a solution. I want to be a part of this Staff Team because I feel that I can learn a lot from all the different members of the Team, I can expand my areas of knowledge, I can broaden my horizons regarding management and administration of a Minecraft Server. As well If I were accepted, I would be a non-biased, friendly Staff member who would love to assist players in any way possible on the server. I feel like being mature and showing good grammar is an important aspect of being a Staff Member. Every recording I would have would include at least 30 seconds of solid evidence, to ensure that the hacker does not get away with rule breaking. I am familiar with warning players, as they might not know that they are breaking a rule. As well as pvping, I would set moderating as my top priority. As mentioned above, I wouldn't give a player 'special treatment', just because they were my friend, or they had donated. No matter who anyone is, I would treat everyone in the same respectful way. I also have a very high self esteem concluding the fact that I never take anything personally, therefore toxicity cannot really happen. Do you have any previous moderating experience? theoretically.
- Do you have experience as a Staff?
- I do indeed have lots of experience. I will not list the names though; that would be considered advertising. More so of the fact that some servers I have been staff around had hundrends of players, but it has been a long time since. My first role as staff was on the server I spent two years of my life playing day after day, I applied for staff after a year and I got to Moderator. I was a Mod of the Creative Server, and so my job was to assign plots for players, complete "Mod Requests", World edit any structure for a player, logblock griefed land in an unclaimed plot, issue bans to griefers, homophobes, racists, advertisers and mutes to spammers. The community was very PG, and so I learned how to deal with a wide variety of situations. The Staff Team was amazing, I learned a lot from them, more specifically how to act in given circumstances, and how to work with many administrative plugins.
- I have also been a Trial-Mod in a Minigames server, it actually had a lot of players and my job was to ensure everyone was having a smooth and entertaining time at the server. I was expected to issue mutes, kicks and temporary bans to swarms of spammers and advertisers, to keep chat clean and mostly report bugs in any minigame to the Administrators.
- Other than that, like most Ex Staff Members of dead communities (or at least that is my perception) I tried to revive it, but nothing really serious, along with a few other projects that went no where, but made me become familiar with the technical parts of running a server.
- - Factions Server
- Playerbase: 20-30
- I was staff on a Factions server which gained around 20-30 players and on the weekends, 40 players. Whilst being a member of staff, I had to tackle many challenges, trying to help as many people as possible. I eventually resigned though, as I felt like the Owner didn't care for it much anymore.
- - KitPVP Server
- Playerbase: 15-20
- A server that had a slightly smaller player base than the factions; but still a good way to earn experience.
- Staff experience on other servers: ^^^^^^
- How active are you on the server and discord?
- Very active. Also in later experience, I will spend a lot of time.
- Is there anything that may affect your playtime?
- No accept on weekends, I hang out with friends mostly every weekend.
- Since it is summer, I could honestly dedicate at least couple hours a day depending on certain circumstances, if I have something come up.
- Extra:
- I setup some goals that I want to continue with, if I get accepted.
- Meet the Staff team.
- Make friends with everyone possible in discord.
- Learn the commands that my staff position gets. (I most likely know how to use the commands but please tell me what commands i get)
- Be active as much as possible.
- Try get promoted to the top.
- Make good friends with Owner.
- Find spare time before going to sleep, on checking the server website responding to applications ect.
- Invite players. Aswell some other information I would like you to know is that Since Iplayed minecraft for about 6 years now i will know if someone is hacking in game it is easy to see if someone is hacking. I can see that when people are fighting the max range of blocks is 3 blocks. to be 4 blocks SSP (survival single player), and 5 meters in multiplayer (most likely to compensate for the lag, making combat and block placement easier). But I can see if they have consistent lag, speed, flight, killaura, legit killaura and many others
