  1. Hmmmm a high magic affinity fox species, driven to whatever their passions are, and making masks and facewear to tie into those passions
  2. Kliff - Today at 6:46 PM
  3. Huh.
  4. Why does that sound like something my fox would be? Especially if he ends up striking up a friendship with a Masked Owl over the same passion?
  5. Novaheart - Today at 6:53 PM
  6. Same but different
  7. They're not born with masks and they don't have the accelrated mastery, but don't have that hyper focus that cripples them in learning in other areas
  8. They Do, have drive that makes them try and accompish great feats in their interests, often trying to top off their last feats or feats of others.
  9. Kard, the shade summoner for example, is driven to collect books, spells, artifacts to put in their increasingly bigger library.
  10. (And natrually contract and create more Shadows and Shades)
  11. Space Doritos - Today at 7:00 PM
  12. Did you ever decide on what elements make Shade?
  13. Novaheart - Today at 7:02 PM
  14. still trying to figure it out, but I think one of them is Light
  15. the problem being I don't really know the effects of the secondary elements
  16. Space Doritos - Today at 7:03 PM
  17. Yes light seems pretty logical
  18. Novaheart - Today at 7:07 PM
  19. Ether Psi. Spirit, or Cloud
  20. Space Doritos - Today at 7:10 PM
  21. O Cloud I didn't think of that...but that could make sense. I feel like I just can't get past either Spirit or Psi being tied in there somehow if it's shadows coming to life...but ahh
  22. Novaheart - Today at 7:11 PM
  23. Shade isn't just shadows coming to life, it's emulation and cookie cutting
  24. Space Doritos - Today at 7:11 PM
  25. True
  26. Novaheart - Today at 7:21 PM
  27. I also have another character in the works on top of Kard and his brother/his cousin who share a body, his brother's friend who's a Turf Tiger hybrid
  28. Oh right
  29. And for the Foxes, tentatively names Noh Fox till I can figure something better, use the masks as part of character, mainly with them on, they act in a different way then with them off, and often with personas tied to different masks/facewear
  30. yaodema - Today at 7:38 PM
  31. Foxade?
  32. Novaheart - Today at 7:39 PM
  33. Foxade?
  34. yaodema - Today at 7:40 PM
  35. say it out loud
  36. Novaheart - Today at 7:40 PM
  37. Fox aid.....Foxen....
  38. ?? Gapow?? - Today at 7:41 PM
  39. Facade...
  40. yaodema - Today at 7:41 PM
  41. Facade, yes, that's what I was going for
  42. ?? Gapow?? - Today at 7:41 PM
  43. So less aid more awed
  44. Novaheart - Today at 7:41 PM
  45. ohhhhhhh that's good
  46. Also they carry around a 'personal' mask tied to their own growth, even when they're not wearing it to go into character. They mark great accompishments by ether decorating it in increasingly elabote ways, or make a new mask that uses the feat at the motif
  47. Physical wise, they're taller than Aurorian foxes (Around 4-6 feet) but not as tell of filled out as Commons foxes (They tend to lean on willowy or lithe figures, though it still varies by the individal). Eyes tend to be more squre eye shape like a Swift fox, tails are long and some hybrids have multiple.
  48. Novaheart - Today at 8:06 PM
  49. Speaking of Magic affinity, once they gain their primary attribute, they retain it for like, though their secordaries can change
  50. Any suggestions?
