- AbstruseAsian: I was muted for being "annoying" at first
- AbstruseAsian: and then I defended myself and was muted for "failing to comprehend previous warning/mute"
- AbstruseAsian: first lets start off by saying implying I didn't comprehend means I didn't understand
- AbstruseAsian: and if I didn't understand, muting me is wrong in so many different ways
- AbstruseAsian: In fact, I do understand, I was muted for being "annoying" even though I didn't break any rules, although the moderators can use their own discretion to mute.
- @Flare ✇: The appropriate thing to do is to complain to said staff via PMs, not publicly.
- @Flare ✇: By doing it in public you're creating unnecessary drama.
- AbstruseAsian: Okay
- @Flare ✇: That's also part of why you got muted, besides you weren't really giving the best approach to it.
- AbstruseAsian: But the staff didn't have the right approach to mute me in the first place
- AbstruseAsian: so I was wronged in the first place
- AbstruseAsian: so shouldn't staff be held at a higher standard
- AbstruseAsian: The fact that I was muted a second time for longer was a result of me being muted off of something unfair
- @Flare ✇: Feel free to contact a RO about it when they get online.
- AbstruseAsian: What's an RO?
- @Flare ✇: Room Owner
- AbstruseAsian: Okay but the room owner is never online
- AbstruseAsian: And I'm muted
- AbstruseAsian: so how is that fixing the problem in any way
- AbstruseAsian: the staff member won't get in trouble because this will be deemed "inconsequential"
- AbstruseAsian: as I will likely be unmuted by the time
- AbstruseAsian: so he or she is free to do this whenever he or she desires
- AbstruseAsian: I'm actually not trolling I'm kinda pissed
- @Flare ✇: Archas is online right now, if you wish to appeal your current mute, contact them directly.
- AbstruseAsian: how will that resolve anyhting
- AbstruseAsian: he's the one who muted me
- AbstruseAsian: if he unmutes me he is admitting to fault
- AbstruseAsian: there is no reason for him to do that
- @Flare ✇: That is obviously the idea, to appeal to the one who muted you.
- @Flare ✇: And see if they can get you unmuted.
- AbstruseAsian: but if he unmutes me he admits to fault
- AbstruseAsian: there is no reason for him to admit to fault
- @Flare ✇: This is not some sort of court or moral stuff dude...
- AbstruseAsian: Also he left
- AbstruseAsian: but I was muted unfairly
- @Flare ✇: What do you want even?
- @Flare ✇: I dont get it
- AbstruseAsian: to be unmuted
- AbstruseAsian: and im just generally kinda slaty
- @Flare ✇: if they unmute you, they're admitting a fault
- @Flare ✇: ¿_¿_¿_¿_¿
- AbstruseAsian: yes
- AbstruseAsian: and they won't do that
- AbstruseAsian: Im mad in general
- AbstruseAsian: that this can happen
- AbstruseAsian: I feel attacked
- @Flare ✇: Well for a next time, you appeal it via pms, you complain it via pms, not in public chat.
- AbstruseAsian: I'm sorry but I sometimes feel like the staff just does what they feel
- AbstruseAsian: yeah but that literally cannot solve anything
- AbstruseAsian: either
- AbstruseAsian: do you see what I mean
- @Flare ✇: If they did what they wanted they wouldn't be staff to begin with.
- AbstruseAsian: that's not necessarily true
- AbstruseAsian: with staff comes power and some people desire that
- @Flare ✇: Says you.
- AbstruseAsian: there is no guarantee of perfect selection, and I feel like thats a case of that
- @Flare ✇: But I'm not doing to debate about power nor any trivial stuff, sorry I don't have time for that.
- @Flare ✇: Neither I have time to be going in circles about this with you.
- AbstruseAsian: So I can't really get help?
- AbstruseAsian: when I've been wronged
- AbstruseAsian: yikes
- AbstruseAsian: sorry I know you don't have any power to do anything
- AbstruseAsian: and you probably aren't in place to have opinoins
- AbstruseAsian: I'm just kinda offended
