  3. “As ▒▒▒▒▒▒ from the ▒▒▒▒ rise up over eons, some of these ▒▒▒▒▒▒ successfully develop into a ▒▒▒▒▒▒ form, while others not fully developed fall back to the ▒▒▒▒ as inanimate objects. But a malfunction has occurred during this process, and upon a new discovery, a ▒▒▒▒▒ is formed.”

  5. The child wakes up with a jolt, sweat across her back. She felt her smile fold over and melt on itself as she reaches for her book, her necklace swinging to the side.

  7. The pages flap their wings as if they were white doves. Just like the room, her hands are empty as she feels the book slide out of her hands. Taken away. Why? This society is not perfect. It will never be. She is not happy. She is not happy. She wears her happiness like a mask and they have taken it away and there is no option of knocking up their front door and asking for it back. Or perhaps escape using a portal? No, those are myths. Those are not real. But there are many secrets, who knows what they hide?
  12.
  13. What are you hiding? You don't need to hide. Welcome me with an open door with a warm fireplace inside. Everyone else's doors are made of metal and locked and shut tight with chains that rattle. When will someone finally understand? When will someone free me?
