  1. Firstly, Brockton Bay is violently pulled out of its own world and into this one, a big ole mashup zone. This takes place around when the Slaughterhouse Nine have just gotten into town. In the wake of the chaos following the violently dimensional travel the PRT and the various unaligned and villain groups in the city agree to the Brockton Accord, declaring that all cape on cape violence is forbidden until things get a little less super fucked in the interest of having everyone not die. The Nine go underground as they try to regain cohesion after the dimensional shift. Half a year later outriders from Kings Landing of GoT fame run into Skitter and Grue as they scout out the area around Brockton. A small skirmish ensues and the two city states go to war. Brockton initially has the upper hand, due to having capes, but King's Landing starts to focus more on gurrellia warfare. Capes, while powerful, can still get fucking jumped and fancy super powers aren't going to save you from a arrows through the back. Things fully turn when a sect of Shapers, a group of mages from the Geneforge games who can manipulate biology and create stranger monsters, join with King's Landing. The Nine had joined the war effort because holy shit war means you can do all kinds of horrible bullshit to people and the PRT will only complain a little bit. During the middle of the war a roving murder band made up of Jack Slash and Shatterbird are ambushed by Jamie Lannister, the King Slayer, and Jack is killed. The Nine, now eight, are thrown into chaos. This is made even worse when the Siberian ends up just fucking disappearing. With the war over the remaining Nine try and go about being serial killers, but find working together is fucking hard without their leadership. Crawler ends up getting killed when the Empire sets trap using a cache of wildfire and is incinerated by magic napalm. The few Nine left either die or abandon the group, leaving Bonesaw as the last member in Brockton. She retreats to the ruined wasteland that is the Docks and has been leaving alone for the past 3 years.
