What the hell even is The Twilight Zone?  Not the show, the place.  Even with an encyclopedic knowledge of the series I’m still not sure if it’s a metaphor or not.  It seems like it’s a weird dimension with eyeballs and doors but at the same time it’s where every episode takes place? I mean hell I can’t even say “it’s a realm where supernatural things happen” because the first episode is about a guy who is just experiencing a hallucination!  What’s so supernatural about that?

God I hope no one ever asks me what The Twilight Zone is supposed to be.  I know I’m gonna have to make something up and I don’t want to be wrong about this.
