  1. (16:45:26) Desoto. The car ride had been largely uneventful, minus a certain hitchiking vampire. Talks had been made, Sonic and gas station aliment consumed at a copious rate. Des hopped out of the truck sporting his new jacket, a dark indigo denim body with black wool sleeves, black suede jeans and boots. Because he was fucking cold. Unpacking would come next, or so he suspected, but first he just wanted to get into the place and sit down in a chair that didn't chaff his ass to all hell and back. Walking up to the front door of the soon-to-be shop, hand outstretched to try the handle. Desoto used his other hand to rifle through his perma bed-head, fighting back a yawn while he squinted through the remaining rays of a receding sunset. It was nice to finally be on his feet again, even if they were cramped and half-asleep.

  3. (16:53:31) Brontes had heard the vehicle pull up and lept up to look out the window. Once he saw a familiar face he was there at the door to swing it open just as Desoto tried it. He smiled, warmly. Yay, a familiar face! Mostly he was just happy Desoto hadn't met his doom and gloom from what he had been saying that one night and he would reach out to wrap his arms around his neck, "MMMM so glad you're okay!" He offered before pulling away and then looked for Daiyu or anyone else who might have been with him, but making a point to get out of his way. "Do you need any help?"

  5. (16:58:39) Will Hadote fell asleep after that talk with Felix, and apart from taking a piss break at whatever hour in the morning and then writing in his notebook for a few minutes, he was out like a light. He only woke now, when he heard voices outside- the rv where he'd crashed wasn't far at all from the shop. With a grunt, he rolled slightly on his side in the recliner, grabbing the blanket that had situated around his midsection. He'd forgotten to change clothes last night, oh well. Pushing himself out of the chair, he glanced over to see if Felix was still sleeping on the makeshift dinette bed, before heading for outside; he, too, was squinting at the sun, but at least he looked less tired than yesterday. He'd slept a good, hey, fourteen hours straight like he'd hoped. He paused, then, seeing Desoto and Dom in front of the shop. Desoto? "The hell you doing here?" He couldn't be here for the same reason.

  7. (17:07:08) Desoto had enough time to perform a single blink, and a hastily mouthed, "Eh--?" Before he was enveloped in warm snuggly goodness. Dom probably wasn't putting that much force into it, but Des still threw one leg out behind him for balance, the ball of his foot braced against the ground. He was a lot of things right then, but, tell you what. Being greeted with such exuberance felt nice. A low grunt was issued as he bore the brunt of the embrace, his own arms snaking around Dom's middle before he reared with the intention of lifting the Witch clear off the ground. "Eya cinnabun, missed me?" CLEARLY. "I had good people lookin' out for me." In response to Dominic's relief. Had he managed to pick him up, Des would settle Dom back onto his feet before letting go, turning to appraise Will askance. "Maid service, hide all your porn or it's going in the trash." He flung his arms in the air, "Tha fuck you think I'm doin'? You wanna renovate a shop on your own?" Blowing a raspberry, Des [c]
  8. (17:10:13) Desoto rubbed at his temple. Right, the stuff... the stuff. "Later, yeah. I dunno where Daiyu wants it all, n' I don't need him goin'," Des posed grumpily, vocals imitating Dai's monotone drawl, "This is not what I had in mind, but I suppose it's the thought that counts." Making a face, he began going inside, unless stopped. (f)
