  1. “Leo,” a petite black and white molly mewed, her smooth voice breaking the silence of predawn. “We have been traveling for moons-” A towering golden broad shouldered tom interrupted her, his booming voice easily overtaking the conversation. “We have, and it’s too late to head back. The prophecy is not to be doubted.” He spoke in a frustrated manner, but there a hint of question hidden in his tone.

  3. A muscular dark grey tom flanked Leo, speaking soon after the lion-like feline had finished. “We can’t head back now, you’re right on that,” his tone was matter-of-fact. “But what if you misinterpreted the message?” He hesitated at the next statement. “What do you think, Echo?” His green eyes rested onto the feline that had spoken before Leo. “It’s not that I don’t believe in the prophecy Soot, but maybe Leo should try to ask Idalia for help. We won’t get anywhere going in mindless circles.” By the time she had finished, they had all stopped walking. Leo’s amber eyes glowed with thought. “Okay. I will try and speak with her in my dreams tonight, but for now we should hunt and rest.” The other two companions nodded in agreement as they started to search for a shelter.

  5. The chirping of birds lightened the mood as they investigated the environment. “It’s dawn already,” Echo observed as the sun peaked out from the horizon, creating a beautiful scenary of warm colors. “How mesmerizing…” Soot commented, his eyes glistening in amazement. Leo nodded, mesmerized as well. Out of the corner of his eyes, the golden cat spotted a burning yellow orb. Leo’s eyes widened with understanding, as he muttered something under his breath, “When the Dawn shines it's hope, the answer shall be hidden in the message.” It majestically floated towards what seemed like a destination, and Leo departed from his peers as he followed it in eagerness.

  7. His paws walked on moorland, a vast stretch of forest in the distance. By the sounds of it, prey was plentiful and there was no sign of no-furs. This grew Leo’s excitement as he continued to track the orb. Soon Leo was confronted with a cliff, the end scooped out to make a large cave. At the side there were sloping pathways to get back up, perfect to get in and out. The glowing ball soon faded, and the sounding of mews interrupted Leo’s thoughts. “There you are!” Soot meowed from afar, as he picked up a plump finch in his jaws he seemed to have caught. “This place is filled with prey!” He glanced over to the cave. “You found us a shelter, great!” His enthusiasm amused Leo. “It looks big enough to home a whole tribe,” Echo had appeared into sight, gazing at the cave until her eyes flickered to Leo in question. “This will be our home now.” Leo announced, his eyes raking over the land. “With the power of Dawn in our paws, and with faith in our hearts.”
