  1. The Mirai all share the basic aspects of their progenitor's personality, and thus are extremely vain and narcissistic (though not so mcuh they're dysfunctional with each other, indeed, they are extremely cooperative and fond of each other's company unless relationships naturally decay as they would for normal people), and have an obsession with the aesthetic side of things - their technology, their Metaships, their architecture, their clothing is all designed for their particular sense of aesthetic in mind, with a lot of focus on gold and white and a futuristic yet fashionable appearance. The Mirai believe themselves to be the perfect race of beings, with infinite potential to evolve even further - which they do by capturing other species and grinding them down into a thin broth in massive "blender" like devices, then using the broth to archive the genes of the race in question to selectively apply to Mirai clones in the future. The Mirai are probably the most prominent gene-manipulating Meta Enhancement users in the 108, and have many sub-breeds based off what genes were added to their cloning, such as those with psychic powers, superpowers, biologically enhanced strength, and the like. The Mirai's genesis is fueled using biomass that's processed in the cloning stations, fused with the genes, and then shaped into Mirai. While not outright hostile to all other races, they believe themselves to be superior to other races and think extremely little of them, whenever they're not outright planning to attack another race, they're extremely patronizing and dismissive of other races, even pitying them for not being as perfect and supreme as their own. Despite all being clones of the same person, the Mirai have several different sub-factions and schisms, some far more benign, some far less so. They also differentiate themselves from each other by styling their hair and wearing their makeup in various different ways, as well as their fashion of course - though the symmetry of the Mirai is extremely valued in their culture, so they don't dye their hair and many of them are even content to make sure they look completely alike, differentiated only by whatever they're wearing. Because of their obsession with looks and aesthetic, their technology is extremely decorative and delicate - and thus very frail, their Metaships being some of the easiest to destroy in the 108, which they compensate for with use of shields and speeds to avoid this destruction. Their settlements are extremely beautiful, adding to the dissonance of how they routinely perform small genocides to sequence DNA and obtain the secrets to mapping and replicating foreign genes. Some rare cultures of Mirai are known as Beautifiers, who take their pity for other races to an extreme level, and have instead created specialized version of the cloning pods to instead turn members of other races placed inside them into new Mirai, seeing this as an improvement upon all levels - removing flaws from races such as differing sexuality, race, creed, and ideology. The Mirai are supremely vain and always are looking for ways to inflate their ranks, especially among Mirai not tasked with things like farming or laboring, such as scientists, politicians, military commanders, and the like, but the most esteemed are Mirai Prime herself and Mirai Secundus, the first even clone of Mirai Prime to have ever been created, with Mirai Prime being treated like an almost deific emperor of the Mirai, and Mirai Secundus as her trusted advisor, and almost every Mirai settlement has a golden statue of one of the two. Mirai are exclusively interested romantically and sexually in other Mirai, having no interest in other races, even women of other races. The Mirai are in a cold war with most of the Shard Union, but are outright hostile to most other major 108 groups - whether deserved, like with the Santore Empire and Mazakh, or not deserved, such as with Yume-Lo and the less hostile civilizations on Xeta, but due have peaceful diplomatic relations with some groups like Mejeya and the like.
