  1. Luna and Nanami spent several weeks spending time together on and off, and they quickly developed a deep friendship. Days went by going to the movies, enjoying theme park rides, and spectating the arena fights that Mejeya is so famous for, but during the entire course of her time inside Mejeya, Nanami couldn't help but think of her home, and how she was failing to help it. She knew every day that she continued to fail to grow stronger, every day that she spent time playing around rather than progressing, the more people suffered and died in her homeworld, which she cherished so dearly. Eventually, she had to come clean with Luna regarding who she was and why she came to Mejeya - she was a girl who wanted to become a sea witch, and save her world, which was under assault by monsters, and that the time she was spending with Luna was interfering with this mission... but at the same time, she had no idea how to progress or get stronger at all, and felt like she was failing her Shard with her lack of progress, and how she had no idea what even to do to fix this failure. Luna was sad that it seemed like their friendship had to come to an end, but she contacted Nanami again shortly after, out of a mixture of desire to see Nanami again and because she believed the figured out a way to help Nanami defeat the monsters attacking her world. She explained to Nanami the concept of Blessings, the force of "Good" within the meta - positive emotions and drives, and emotions and drives which spur positive emotions in others. She believed that using advaned Meta-Magic techniques, she could awaken the power of Nanami's desire to save her world using Blessings, and convert these Blessings into power which she could use to destroy the Forbidden Sea. Luna bought an entire building to prepare the experiment, which Nanami thought little of, and it soon came into play, a massive magical array that would draw on Nanami's hope and determination, and it seemed to work, as Luna told Nanami to keep focusing on her passion and the people she wanted to save, the races she wanted to unite. It did end up working... but the power created was very minor indeed - it granted her the title of Sea Witch, as she was able to draw forth magical waters from her body to heal others and manipulate as she pleased, but it didn't solve the situation with her home Shard at all. Nanami was heartbroken, and Luna felt like she had failed a person she had come to love. Luna mentioned that there was another experiment they could try, but that Nanami wouldn't like it.
