[center]We are the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, ODST for short. The ODST are well trained soldiers that have undergone special training from the beginning due to their outstanding performance. Further they have been trained in surviving, dropping out of orbit in a drop pod efficiently, being a weapon expert and know how to handle extreme cases of combat, and know how to undergo operations that are almost impossible.[/center]

[center][i]The ODST armor is a modified version of the Mark IV Mjolnir powered air assault armor made with lightweight materials and it's suitable for non-augmented soldiers. The armor provides lots of advantages during combat such as ballistic protection, temperature control, as well as thermal insulation against extreme temperatures experienced during going into space, and thermal protection from Covenant energy weapons due to the heat of the plasma bolt. The BDU has been changed multiple times in armor and technology, the VISR has been added in the ODST helmet to enchance their combat and give a higher chance of survival, it's able to store up to 610MB of data, mission content and a local map that follows your steps through the whole field.[/i][/center]

[center][color=#239edd]M7S - Caseless Silenced SMG[/color][/center]

[center][i]The M7 is a UNSC standard issue submachine that got modified and enhanced by the ODST to fight in combat more effecient and increase mobility and decrease weight itself. They removed the case for faster maintenance and decrease lots of the weight on it, it also helps alot with handling and adding in different types of modifications, such as flashlights, laserpointers, scopes and silencers. The silencers were enhanced from the inside with a reinforced barrel and with durable materials that could be replaced easily. There are two types of clips, but the ODST prefer to use the clip with 48 FMJ rounds instead of the 60 rounds due to being smaller and easier to carry around. It's highly effective in close quarters combat but if shooting in controlled sprays you can hit targets at medium range.[/i][/center]

[center][i]The M6C-SOCOM is a enhanced and modified version of the M6C personal defense weapon. It has been stripped down and upgraded with a lightweight frame and a integrated sound suppressor for operatives that like to undergo stealth operations instead of direct engagements. It is the secondary weapon of the ODST and definitely our favorite as a sidearm. It has low recoil, it shoots up to 115 meters and easy to modify and to repair. It has a clip with 12 high penetration bulllets and the clips are small and easy to carry around.[/i][/center]

[center][color=#239edd]Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vechile - Drop pod[/color][/center]

[center][i]The "SOEIV" also known as the drop pod is one of the ODST signature equipment, it's drop from a dropship in orbit rapidly towards a battleground. It has thrusters and a parachute. How the droppod works is pretty simple, you get launched out of the dropship and wait till you enter the atmosphere, at around 3.000 feet the drag-type parachute gets out of the top to decrease the speed, at the last 50 meters in the air the thrusters go off to give you a safe landing, there are two types of dropping, automatic and manual, automatic does the whole process for you but you can't control where it lands, with the manual controls on you can. The drop pod is authentic to each user, from the inside or outside, it depends sometimes you are able to see from who it was. It shows their UNSC identification number so you can already see who is missing or who died. The drop pods are able to carry three weapons, some food and supplies, communication device and the user itself. It's only compatible for one ODST. The drop pods are mostly being used to reinforce allies in combat or clear out zones quickly that the U.N.S.C. can't afford to lose. You could almost call it "Plan B" due to always getting used if needed or if the battle has been lost, or if there is no hope left.[/i][/center]
