- Escape From Alcatraz:
- Onto jojolity, this one was made to be a broad jojolity to be clear and I think it was at least fairly accomplished by both teams. I would have expected more humiliating beatdowns or attacks, but those are the riskier maneuvers to get better jojolity.
- For FF, you took this in a more literal direction I think, I am not going to take the meta-narration into account, but I don't think anybody expected it to be anyways aside as maybe a bonus. The soak strat seems about right, the flashbang could have been used here better(kicking them while they are down or other things beside the grapple), and the toilet thing seems like with zeinith an afterwords thing more than anything. The knee capping was the expected play for the jojolities, and that too seems like an afterthought rather than a targeted attack. I'm going to give this a 7 here, I think more could have been done, but just enough was done to get this score.
- Onto BLS, kneecapping and your own soak strategy, as well as the more brutal kidney rip (that last one doesn't really count i just thought it was worth mentioning somewhere). I don't really think too much was done here honestly looking at things especially with the whole grease fire thing, I thought you would at least set their hair on fire or something. But you did at least make a more directed attack on the knees and the attempted beating up a man with their own stand is funny. A 7 here is about right for the effort given here.
- The Shanksaw Redemption:
- Overall, I think both teams did pretty sufficient here, but neither wowed me all that much.
- FF puts a big emphasis on clowning on BLS but I don't think they actually make them look like clowns that much. Stuff like soaking them with sprinklers and shutting doors on them is pretty fun, but I think some plays that would've netted you a higher score were unfortunately relegated to short contingencies and not incorporated very well into the strat (Dunking em in the toilet, for example, would've probably netted at least an extra point if incorporated better because that really would've been great.) Still though, it was sufficient.
- As for BLS, I think your work here was also passable. Attempting to soak Stefan's equipment with water, getting revenge for Lennox's knees, and beating up Stefan with D-Code were all pretty fun. Lot of focus on Stefan, huh, must be really pissed about Lennox. Anyway, I think you could've focused a bit more on giving Ric some love here, as well as just generally more varied and entertaining plays to net you a higher score.
- Overall, both teams get a 7 from me. Nothing too special, but fulfilled well enough and pretty entertaining. Good work.
- Toy Story 3:
- I’m opting to lump the Jojolity writeup together, as both FF and BLS have the same score- 6. The goal each teams had was broad, and I feel properly fulfilled, although with little fanfare, neither side particularly going out of their way to rack up some good moves (and hence, points) perhaps aside from BLS’ attempted knee and kidney snatch, and FF’s attempted swirlies. Over all, I don’t have much to say, except that riskier and more out-of-the-way plays would’ve racked up some better points for both teams, although I’m largely happy with what both side brought to the table.
