  1. Growing up as an Arachne is never easy, due to your larger size, spider appendages and lack of a pronounceable name, along with other aspects, you tend to be the target of seclusion or bullying. This was no different to Phobie, being an Arachne she was given that name to make it easier for teachers to talk to her, based of the word 'phobia' as there were still many students who were afraid of her. Growing up with these conditions secluded her into libraries to distract herself. Over time the librarian noticed Phobie's interest in books and assisted her quenching her thirst of books that are rather difficult to acquire. Phobie at first questioned the kindness of the librarian as this was the first time someone treated her as a person would.
  2. After some time they grew close to each other as friends.
  3.
  4. One day when Phobie was in the library still a child, a group of Clerics, renowned in the southern region were journeying through towns to find people who were worthy to follow them, the librarian urged Phobie to go and have a see, as they would highly likely rare arcane knowledge neither of the two would know about.
  5.
  6. The clerics were testing many to see who could be worthy, before Phobie's turn many were telling her to go, as no one would ever let any spiders become clerics. Because of this Phobie was thinking of leaving when it became her turn. As she was tested, a holy ray of light beamed down on her cloaking her with radiance. As she began to float upwards. "The light has chosen her to be a candidate for a prophet"
  7.
  8. Many did not like this as she was part spider, however her family, and a few others from the town who knew Phobie well all believed in her that she can prove the world wrong.
  9.
  10. There is still a separation to this day as whether an arachne should be the prophet, none in between however Phobie still doubts herself but continues on this path as she feels it is her job to live up to everyone's expectations.
  11.
  12. Travelling with the clerics, she had access to all the books she could ever want from the many libraries. Her many eyes allowed her to read entire libraries in just a few days.
