BACKGROUND:

malee was born in chiang mai, in thailand on the 13th of april 1999. she lived with her parents in thailand until she turned 12, when they all moved to korea. her younger brother, seowoon, was born 7th august 2005 in seoul, south korea. he learnt korean while he was there, as did malee, but they were both born with a korean dad, so already knew most of the basics. they both know how to speak thai, however, malee is more advanced than her brother since he never lived in thailand.

—SCHOOL
malee went to primary school in thailand, and had half a year of high school there, until moving during the easter holidays. she went to a normal high school in seoul, and took up music as her main subject when she had the choice. seowoon only joined her high school when she was in her last year.

—TRAINEE LIFE
malee started training to become an idol at 17, when she had left school. she had auditioned at 16, and started training at 17, however was already rapping and singing during her school life. malee picked up composing in her last year of school, after a friend recommended it to her. that same friend went with her to the auditions, but sadly didn't get in, but continued to support malee all the way.

[ malee learnt how to compose during her high school years, and during her trainee years also. this is one of the main reasons she was accepted, since not only can she sing and rap, but also compose music and songs for the group. ]

[ malee is deadly afraid of the dark. it's mostly when she's alone and in pitch black that she starts panicking, however would be more relaxed with someone with her. however that won't stop her from crying. ]

[ like the dark, malee is also afraid of bugs, but that's more of a hate towards them than a fear. she doesn't get why they even exist, other than to scare people and look ugly. ]

[ malee loves dressing up in pretty clothes, dresses being one of them, but she despises long dresses because she feels they are just meant to be trod on. she also hates how you can't walk in them, unless they flow behind you. ]
