  1. Young Los Angeles rapper King Karti debuted in 2017 when an anonymous YouTube video dropped of him rapping a cover of Lil Uzi Vert's "You Was Right" , which gained 70 thousand views in under 7 days after posting the video. Since then, he had released 'Molly' in late 2018 which debuted at number 146 on the Billboard charts. Currently, he has been releasing short snippets on YouTube of a new upcoming project which is still unknown as to what it is about. He usually (under a new alias each time) posts these snippets with the intent of playing a sort of game with his fans which is similar to that of an ARG (alternate reality game).

  3. Born Michael Phillips in the outskirts of Los Angeles (specifically Montebello, CA), King grew up listening to the works of The Beatles, Drake, Kanye West, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne. Starting his music career in early 2016, he kept most of his music to himself. Producing, singing (rapping), arranging, and mixing and mastering is everything King is capable in; everything he releases, he releases on his own and tends to be independent production wise (except for featuring other artists). Early tracks like KROKODIL and FAKE! were what was able to fix himself a new studio, and becoming acquainted with Yung €a$h, who took King under his wing, and helped him garner a following and had notched tens of thousands of streams. ~ Carter Wysmac, K.Karti Studios
