BACKGROUND :
choi haeeun was born in late january of 1998, with an older sister and a decently normal family. her father was never home and, growing up, haeeun's older sister, eunseol was always taking care of her. when haeeun was only five, in which she was too young to understand a lot, she and eunseol were sent to the small island of jeju to live with their aunt.
▷ haeeun had a decently normal life in jeju, she went to a normal public school with her sister, had good grades, that was up until seventh grade middle school. she overheard her aunt talking to her older sister about her mother. turns out, her mother was killed by her father due to unknown reasons. in which, reason was if he didn't, he would die instead.
haeeun, who at the time was only a measly thirteen year old, had her future changed forever. she kept it a secret that she heard of that, and lived on into high school. she gained a boyfriend, [ whom she was weary of gaining in the first place, ] and they were strong for almost three years. when junhye turned eighteen though, he left her for someone else as junhye was “ never around ”. which was in fact a lie. junhye was so completely hung up on him that she sort of just gave up for a while, and became irritable.

LIKES :
— cuddles , haeeun first found this as a coping mechanism seeing as she just couldn't fall asleep. she, most of the time uses pillows if other people aren't willing to. but sometimes, she can't sleep without someone next to her or near her. she never quite knew why, though.

— sweaters , she stole one from one of her friends at one point and literally refused to give it back. has attachments to them and they hold a sense of comfort. most times she just "borrows" them from the others.

— skittles , since she was little, she found skittles somewhere and ended up eating almost the entire bag. she really likes them and it's one of her favorite foods that she'll eat, even if it is very sugary.

— spicy foods , this is haeeun's favorite TYPE of food. more often than not she'll have some sort of spice on her food, and she has a high tolerance to it, so she can eat large amounts without it feeling spicy to her.

— stargazing , as sometimes haeeun used to go out to the forest at night to have time to herself, she'd see the stars. she actually grew a great attachment to them and despite how dangerous it was to go out at night, she still went.

— writing , haeeun has a small 'diary' of sorts that she keeps around with her to track everything going on in her life. she also writes poems and songs too, but she's too shy to perform them.

— music , she especially takes a liking towards the group bigbang. their music really seemed to attract her and more often than not, that's what she's listening to. she also listens to american artists / bands, such as panic! at the disco and set it off.

DISLIKES :
— dark , she hates the dark, it scares her deeply. It reminds her of the times that her parents— her father in particular, were never there, and she doesn't ever want to go back to that.

— bees , she got stung by one when she was out with the others, she tried to set it on fire with a match. don't ask. she refuses to get near one now a days.

— rude people , this is something that haeeun absolutely d e s p i s e s. especially when it's males, more so towards her friends. she may not show it, but she cares about them.

— coffee , she tried it once in hope to stay awake because she was too jittery to sleep. she hated the taste of it and thought it was too bitter. also why it's teaaeun instead of coffeeun.

— the rain , more so just thunder and lightning, but haeeun hates the rain and anything to do with it. It makes her flinch, and at the nights where it does rain, good luck getting her to work.
