Background: Some scholars say that all Reptilian races can track their lineage down to Bahamut, and the stocky little creatures called Tonberries were no exception. While they remained an isolated tribe with little peaceful outside contact, some of them lusted to wander the world. And one of them was a nameless mute little creature, cursed from birth with complete silence and an unusual frailness for the Tonberry race who not much weeks after being hatched, started to jump... And jump and jump away, hopping through the deserted lands of the fallen Mogri empire. After scavenging the armor of various dead moogles on ancient sand-ridden battlefields, the little Tonberry started to work as a mercenary, killing and saving people for no good reason other than... Distraction? Still, he managed to keep his real identity covered up by the makeshift armor, giving the impression of being either a deranged Lallafell or a Moogle.
