- Gigaleak stuff that's been processed and put together to make it easier for people to look through and use
- Main:
- - Converted from CVS to git; complete with branches, tags, authors, history, and commit messages. This is done for each "module". No need to use crappy old software or "check" anything out. ez
- - Generated info for both the git and CVS versions. This includes file lists and extracted metadata (excludes .git, .svn, CVSROOT folders). The relevant info is included in each archive, but I also made them available separately.
- * directory_tree.txt is a graphical representation of a directory and its contents
- * file_tree.csv and file_tree.json are lists of all the files in a directory including their size, date modified, md5, and sha256; JSON is more human-readable but CSV is good for importing into something like excel.
- * metadata.json scrapes the metadata for each file, depending on the file this can include things like the names of every person who modified it and the date, the name of their computer, what directory that file was in when it was modified, what character encoding it uses, what architecture it was compiled for and its endianness, etc...
- * .sfv files are just checksums
- Extra:
- - Created PDFs and images from schematics, PCB designs, gerbers, and dxf files for easy viewing. Made some 3D PDFs for PCBs (not all PDF viewers support these). Updated Eagle files to newer versions. Put everything in an archive with the rest of the PCB/Schematic related files
- - An archive that only has all of the documentation related files (.doc, .pdf, etc..)
- - Extracted all the archives (.zip, .tar, .rar, etc files) that are contained within the main archives. Put them in their own archive
- Notes:
- - Expect some Japanese text encoding issues with file names and git commit messages
- - Having Japanese language support on your OS may help
- - Using WinRAR you can set the text encoding when you extract the archive to preserve it
- - Files will work better on a case sensitive file system if on Windows you can make case sensitive folders using WSL 2
- - git repos should ignore permissions changes
- - Metadata for the following folder has been excluded; netcard/gba/depot-offline/sw/gvm/external (Linux packages)
- - Metadata for some directories have been chunked to make smaller file sizes
- - Extras retain the folder structure of the originals for easy comparison
