- [13:45:51] Lou: K-pop (abbreviation of Korean pop) is characterized by its wide variety of audiovisual elements.
- [13:47:01] Lou: The modern form of the genre (idol groups) emerged early in the 90's with a quite popular trio called Seo Taiji and Boys, which was formed in 1992. As a random fact: K-pop is known in Korea as Idol Music.

- [13:54:16] Lou: These were founded in 1995, 1996 and 1997 respectively

- [13:58:50] Lou: Super Junior and BIGBANG are also known as popular groups that expanded the hallyu over the world!

- [14:03:47] Lou: there are relevant groups like MAMAMOO, BlackPink, EXO, BTS, Seventeen, Got7, TWICE

- [14:04:44] Lou: going from talented artists, incredible songs
- [14:05:05] Lou: catchy coreographies, amazing musical videos etc
