What is your mental illness?: Claustrophobia

How did you get your mental illness?: When Azuno was a young kid she was in school when a few bullies came up to her. Azuno was a quiet girl that tended to be a rather easy target. The bullies dragged Azuno to a small, dark storage closet and locked the door. She was trapped in their for over an hour freaking out and banging on the door for help. When she was eventually found, Azuno was shaking and had tear streaks down her face. Ever since then she couldn't stand being in small places.

When did you get diagnosed with your mental illness?: 8

How do you cope with your mental illness?: Azuno is always outside, even in the rain. She likes knowing that she is free outside with no bounderies. She often stays outside and does practically everything like eating and homework.

Background:
Azuno grew up in Osaka, Japan. She doesn't really remember anything about Osaka because when she was 4 her family moved to Toyko. Azuno was never very social, she much preferred to sit in the corner and draw in her sketch book. She was always on of the best artists in her class. She had two really close friends, they were both actually foreigners and were from the United States. Their names are Lina and Becca. Both were also very artistic so the trio got along well. They were far from popular but they were okay with that, they loved their little group. One day, seemingly for no reason Azuno started to get bullied by a group of kids. After around a month of this was when the incident happened. When Azuno got her fear of tight spaces. When she got locked in the storage closet for more than an hour. She practically cried to Lina and Becca the rest of the day.
Since that day, Azuno couldn't stand to be in small, enclosed spaced. Lina and Becca were surprisingly understanding about the whole situation. Instead of staying cooped up inside, the trio always hung out and did something outside. It was a rather refreshing experience for them. One summer day her parents were shuffling outside her room nervously. Azuno greeted them kindly and smiled softly. They told her she was going to a camp and to pack her bags. Azuno was excited, she'd never been to a camp before and wondered what it would be like. When she finished packing she rushed down to the kitchen and ended up seeing the brochure. Azuno picked it up and read, "Camp Rose is a place where people ages 16-25 who struggle with mental health problems can go to try and recover." Azuno freaked she demanded her parents what was going on and said she wasn't going and said she didn't have serious problems. Claustrophobia was pretty common. But, her parents just looked at her and shook there heads. Azuno's parents ended up forcefully bringing her to the camp. At this is where she is now.

Personality:
Quiet: Azuno is a very quiet person. She doesn't tend to voice her opinion, because she doesn't like the feeling of everyone staring at you waiting for you to say something. It makes her feel insecure and it makes her think twice about what she is going to say.

Shy: Azuno hates crowds so it makes sense she would shy away from people. Azuno loves sitting in the corner far away from everyone because she's in her own little bubble. Even when Azuno starts a conversation she is usually very soft spoken.

Caring: Azuno cares a lot about the people close to her, well not strangers. Cause for all she knows they could be a psychopath. Azuno will do a lot for her friends, just not anything extreme.

Artsy: Azuno loves any kind of art, and was always the subject she looked forward to the most in school. Whether it was painting, charcoal, or photography Azuno loved it. She wants to be a painter when she grows up.

Antisocial: I guess this kind of branches of quiet and shy but I'm doing it! Azuno it VERY antisocial with strangers more so than friends. Friends she will interact with but she isn't an extrovert in the least. She tends to just listen to what people have to say rather than go out with her own ideas.

Adventurous: Azuno is pretty adventurous out in nature. She's not the type that will hurtle off a cliff that says don't jump off, but enjoys exploring new places in nature. Azuno's favorite thing to do is to climb trees. She can always feel like she's on top of the world.

Comforting: Azuno is extremely comforting to those who need it. Azuno has this very soft and peaceful presence that's calming to most people. She makes sure everything is okay and is always ready to talk when the other person is ready to open up.

Probably a 5.

Do you think that spending time at Camp Rose will help you get better?: I don't think so because there are a lot of people here and I don't do well with this many people. Also I'm kind of scared of how the camp will turn out. It seems scary. The fact that I was forced here against my will doesn't help either.
