- Me: Hello, I am a 9th grader and starting Monday this week, I have not been able to connect to the internet through the school network. I am able to connect to the LAN and I do get assigned an IP address (10.212.226.212 if you need it), but I am unable to access any IP outside of the school network. I running Ubuntu 15.10. Could you help me regain the internet? Thanks!
- School tech person: You only have permission to use the LCPS open wifi. Network connectivity beyond that is prohibited.
- Me: Yes, I know, the problem is that I am unable to use LCPS open wifi.
- School tech person: I’m sorry, but we do not support individual user devices. We recommend contacting your phone carrier.
