General notes on egg choices: 
Overall, I think that this is a reasonably optimized route although I spent my time thoerycrafting and only roughly timing things. For the "Shhh, it's a secret." egg, I haven't developed a helmet proxy setup for it, but it's possible by breaking the wall first, then directing helmet proxy toward the opening and jumping when the angle is appropriately lined up.

In Charmed Ridge, there's the inefficient option of paying 600 gems to Moneybags to activate the stairs. Those gems come pretty naturally if you pay any attention to them throughout the run.
