*** Content *** - After reaching a tower's maximum upgrade, you can now keep upgrading its damage forever - Maps now reward essence when beaten - Added 5 new maps - Added achievements. Completing them add bonuses to all characters - Towers now may have active skills - Added a new late game crafting artifact that adds one implicit modifier to an item tower - Added "execute" stat - Added "maximum energy" stat - Added "energy regeneration" stat - Added "skill energy cost reduction" stat - Added "+ skill levels" stat - Added "+ starting lives" stat - Added "+ starting gold" stat - Added "life regeneration" stat *** Balance *** - Default item tower maximum placements is now 3 (from 1) - Basic tower's placements bonus is now 2 (from 1) - Items dropped by enemies have now the same item level as the enemy's level - Affixes level has been adjusted - Sniper tower now drops at 1+ (from 5+) - Spinner tower now drops at 50+ (from 5+) - Maximum refine is now 100 (from 20). Multiplier per refine has been lowered to 0.04 (from 0.1). This means that refine 100 is now a * 4 multiplier to stats (from * 3 multiplier at 20). Cost has been rebalanced - Unique tower drop levels have been adjusted - Rebalanced required exp to level - Rebalanced exp given by enemies - The cost of placing a tower is multiplied by 110% by each tower of the same item tower placed - Attacks can no longer critical more than once if you are over 100% critical chance. Now, critical chance over 100% gets added to base critical damage (This a buff when you don't have much added flat critical damage, and a nerf when you do) - Chain lightning chance over 100% now is added to "increased chain lightning damage" - Double damage chance over 100% is now added to "increased damage" - Bleed chance over 100% is now added to "increased bleed damage" - Poison chance over 100% is now added to "increased poison damage" *** Quality of Life *** - Placed towers can now be modified. If there are more instances of a placed than it's placement limit, instances of that tower will get sold until the placement count matches the limit - Towers in the equipment slots can be swapped if they are not placed - Mouse wheel can be used to scroll through maps in map select *** Visuals / Sound *** - Map navigation now scrolls between pages, instead of changing instantly - Added more sounds - Tower stats panel looks better *** Misc *** - Heavily reduced the amount of items that drop. Items now drop after beating a wave - Added a button to sort artifacts - "Reset tutorials" button is now in options menu - "Reset highest hit" button now asks for confirmation - Removed the mechanic where normal rarity towers had a 2x multiplier to affix values - Removed the mechanic where magic rarity towers had a 1.5x multiplier to affix values - Normal rarity towers always roll the highest available tier - Magic rarity towers always roll one the 2 highest available tiers - Rare and Epic rarity towers always roll one the 4 highest available tiers (unchanged) - Fixed a bug where the starting tower was not saving it's upgrade plan - Fixed a bug where towers with barrage didn't benefit from "x% chance to fire an extra projectile" - Fixed a bug where spinner towers were not using armor penetration - Fixed a bug where Enhance Artifacts were not taking into account tower rarity, type, and were also not respecting the "do not affixes more than 3 tiers below the maximum available for that level" mechanic when adding the new affix
