She could have an injury that heals as she grows? But here is why: For a while before there there was a big to-do over the fact that rylie, rhen and another girl ryka wanted to have a threesome family. And this was just after all the remaining Amrassi had gotten back together in one place, much declined as a race. It had been said before that, that when their parents Jasmyne and Zephyr ran off together (she being a young teen, and he being fairly old.. like in his 50's or 60's) that the great spirits the Amrassi worship had cursed them... and it was hoped in us getting back together and without new offense to them that we would be a blessed race again.. which is why they were against the threesome which they said would offend the spirits and make us cursed once again. Rylie was willing to step aside for the other two if it meant they could return to live in that city (where the others are) when they wanted the three of us to say 'heck with them and the spirits' and go off to live alone. Rylie only meant she would IF the other two took the option to stay.. but Jasmyne played it up as the decision already having been made.. and Ryka hasn't logged in again since, that I can tell. (which made me really mad at Jasmyne's player) Anyway, during the time that Ryka was in the city to find out if what she was told was true, Rhen who was left behind a square away, wandered off 'blindly' some 15 squares away back towards our original home. That took a long while, but Rylie had been waiting for Ryka to log in again so they could talk. Once she finally gave up and went looking for Rhen, he was that 15 squares or so down here near where we are now. So they decided to form their family just the two of them, here in the old original ancestral city of Amras (that the others had abandoned when they decided we were all cursed). Since we're not living outside of the spirits' wishes, I would think our children wouldn't be born with such problems, something that could be claimed as evidence of a new curse upon us. Anyway, thats my thinking on the matter. I do plan to go back and see if Rylie's mama Jasmyne wants to visit and see her grandchildren. And now you have my thoughts on what they might take it as if you have a crippled leg if she and/or the others come back. We'd have to ask for permission for a lot of things we'd want to do, building, using their gadgets (oven, kiln, etc) mining or hunting their resources, etc. Everything in general would be run the way they want, their religion practiced instead of ours, etc. And they could kick us out again whenever they wanted. Not trying to borrow trouble, but without knowing more I wouldn't think settling into one of their cities is a good idea. The only note I have on my map about them is a place labelled "Holy Lands" which is what makes me thing we'd run into trouble trying to have our religion and beliefs, and priestess and rituals, in their midst. Assuming you're relatively young, I'd go south and then east to the mag-set-anu-noljeni continent and start having babies with someone. I've long thought that we need to get kitties out into the world. Their ability to mate with any race and not make halfbreeds could be of great value to struggling races.
