Alright so this is what you do: You and a group of people (preferably as large as possible, but according to my calculations you need ~12 bitchboys, which is extremely realistic to achieve for anyone who is semi-famous), start off the league normally doing your usual racing thing getting to merciless dried lake (this is also why it takes <2 days in a new league because you can't get boosted through acts nor do you have sufficient gear available, you can do it <1 day if the league is a few days old or older). You can be whatever you want, everyone else will be Slayer class (from duelist). From here the fun begins: you will spec into the 'always stun enemies on full life' ascendancy point and just have people drag around dried lake merciless. I have tested this elaborately with a friend and you can drag a bit over half the map without crashing the instance, with 3 people (1 left, 1 mid, 1 top) you can drag the map comfortably without any drops or crashes. It takes about 2 minutes to properly drag 1/3rd of dried lake back to the exit. Then whoever is being boosted to 100 comes in, uses abyssal cry linked with inc aoe and item rarity and oneshots the pack. You can equip xp gear and as much iir/iiq as you want (and any tormented spirits give you a huge fucking iir/iiq increase). I have done testing to see when fps drops occurs when you walk near packs that size and it's a ~screen, about half of the xp range so the vacuumers can get the xp as well. Taken royally (no SSD in loading screens, 3-4 second screenfreezes all which can be mitigated with proper hardware) it takes about 20 seconds to clear an entire dried lake once the mobs are vacuumed to the entrance. Takes ~2 mins to properly drag 1/3rd, so with 12 people you'll have near 100% uptime (some downtime to sell 6socks and stash rare amus/rings). A word on itemfilters: you can swap between 'only show rare boots' 'only show rare gloves' etc. to do unid chaos recipes, obviously it's better to ID stuff at the start of a hc league because so many people ripping and buying lvling gear but this of course takes time so else you'd need another person dedicated to trading whereas you can pump out unid chaos recipes like crazy (I got an average of 6 rings per dried lake so that's 6 chaos as the other item types drop really often). You can scale this up to maps later on when you get better gear. Problems I found from my elaborate testing: - you can't do anything with sea witches that do the slow scream because they stack to 20 instantly in a vacuum and slow you to 0%ms, they don't show up in dried lake though - you need to abandon maps with a tormented martyr in them for obvious reasons, good thing this is very uncommon and you'll be doing 3man dried lake so it's only 1/3rd that gets cut if it does show up - volatile can stack up like crazy in high maps, this isn't a problem in merc dried lake though you can easily take a bunch of volatiles and not drop below 50% because it's such a joke in <80 zones - bond of chaos requires you to have a bunch of chaos res and life regen, but the broken crown is 1 alch and extremely common (even at start of leagues) - don't want to run beyond maps There do not seem to be any other downsides. You get insane iir/iiq from dragged tormented spirits and all of your iir/iiq gear, insane xp/hour (increased by %xp gear) and it's extremely safe.
