Hey guys this is a rough copy for my PvE TR build that is by no means optimized, they are just feats that I picked up for PvE for boss fights in a rogue tanking boss role. I took 3/3 Weapon Mastery for obvious crit benefits, 3/3 Toughness for a little extra leeway for fighting one shot potential encounters, I feel this talent is more beneficial than the actiona advantage talent because in my experience I am always the only melee on the boss providing zero combat advantage outside of me being in stealth where youa lways have combat advantage. 5/5 Swift Footwork for more dodge that you absolutely need to have for the hard boss encounters such as the Dracolich last boss Castle Never. 3/3 Endless Assault for more encounter damage, although im not sure this is that great because I find myself using only lashing blade and wicked reminder as damaging encounters, so these are maybe not the right points. 3/3 Lucky Skirimisher for more deflection, it adds a bit to your gearscore as well as giving you that little extra leeway towards getting caught with your pants down in encounters. 3/3 Disciple of Strength, I took this for the benefits of more stam regen for more dodging, also this worked well for me because my base strength is 21, I was taking str as my second stat as much as possible, with crit being my main stat of 26. Moving on to the Paragon Feats. I took 5/5 Dazzling Blades, this talent is awesome for reducing the cooldown of your spells such as impossible to catch which means more uptime on the boss by standing in red circles you can just "cloak" through, as well as making wicked reminder able to actually get all the stacks up and maintain it on long encounters. 5/5 Devestating Shroud mainly because I needed 5 points to progress through to the third tier of paragon feats, the other 2 are not very good, but this makes shocking execution on bosses pretty good at boosting your damage for a few seconds, very minor effect in the end. 5/5 Critical Teamwork, Crit is awesome and is my main stat I focus on for one reason, I;ll cover that in a sec. 5/5 Deadly Momentum, Okay so this talent is the entire reason i respecced for pve, this and Nimble Blades, more on nimble later. Basically all of the "hard" fights in this game take a long time and basically are an endurance encounter forcing you to not screw up for periods of time, this talent really makes a HUGE difference in your dps granting you a whopping 15% crit severity on boss fights, basically this is a lesser vorpal enchant for you but a little bit better. All in all one of the best talents for pve. Last but not least Overrun Critical. This talent is amazing, this is the entire reason you want to stack crit, if you crit 100% of the time, your attacks will constantly get 30% stronger until the cycle breaks, amazing talent for dps, especially once you start seeing all of your Duelists Flurry "helicopter spin lol" attacks all critting, and youll know why I call it the helicopter spin once you use it for awhile, ill touch on duelists flurry at the end. Moving onto the Scoundrel Paragon tree, I took 5/5 Underhanded Tactics 5/5 and this talent is really just a stepping stone to get Nimble Blades next, and 20% Combat Advantage just kinda helps on trash, really just not very useful, but its better than the other tier 1 talent in the Scoundrel Tree. Last but not least is Nimble Blades, this talent I think gets worse as your gear gets better, but in the end, it still helps increase your dps more than any of the other talents available. So, you might wonder what spells to use through trash pulls, well, what I like to use as the guy that goes in and starts the pull during trash, I use Wicked Reminder, which is a melee range Cone Attack, that reduces their damage resistance, a trick for this spell is to basically just use it as a very small cone attack on groups of mobs, for example, when the control wizard sucks them all into a 1 unit tile with his black hole, this spell is awesome for hitting every target in there as well as debuffing their damage resistance, and its on a relatively short cooldown, so its pretty spammable with Dazzling Blades and minimal recovery. Smoke bomb is a fantastic Team Defensive spell, I just literally run into the pull and smoke bomb it, or stealth in and hit the big guy, wait for stealth to run out and then smokebomb, basically this allows you to not get hit by anything and it makes your party move up to the pack of mobs and help the crazy rogue that wants to tank out xD. Last but obviously not least is Lashing Blade, very simple, amazing damage spell, long cooldown, brought down with dazzling blades, this spell isnt required per say, but I can't stop using it, dem big crits! You might wonder why Im not using MORE aoe spells, well to be quite honest, you dont want the mobs on you really, if youre running around blitzing everything or path of the swording, youre going to be pulling aggro from things you dont want on you and that can be really painful, basically stick to the single target stuff, and wicked reminder stacks of mobs, its a low damage spell that doesnt really pulla ggro from the aoe'rs of your party. And to touch on Duelists Flurry a little bit here, basically it is a 3 stage attack, the first 2 swings are very slow and the third one proc's the "helicopter spin". There is a small window for you to reposition yourself in between the second swing and the helicopter spin so you can literally swing at air twice, then move slightly over to your target and Flurry them, this attack is going to Lock you with your target and can be a double edged sword, sometimes the mobs can be knocked off the ledge while you're flurrying them and you die, but in the end if you get knocked back in a boss fight or even trash, while in the flurry, you just get stuck with the mob and dont have to reopsition, it takes some time to get used to but is awesome. okay now for boss encounters, I normally switch up smoke bomb for Impossible to Catch to be able to stand in aoe's or save my ass if I dont have any stamina left or pots on cooldown, or any reason that youre in trouble, its your oh shit button, it makes you unable to be knocked prone/down/back and causes you to deflect all incoming attacks for the duration, very awesome spell very similar and probably better than "cloak of shadows" from World of Warcraft. For the pirate lair boss and I a few others that aren't coming to me, i use deft strike, basically when the pirate guy raises his hand you deft strike him and he does his 1 2 combo where you were just standing and you can get more uptime on him. Basically the higher end boss fights you just have to manage your pots, dodge, and impossible to catch cooldowns, so you don't feed like I do all the time! Hope this helps guys, sorry there isnt a Power Guide, but, basically just max out the spells I put in this guide for PvE!
