While in port: !buy harpoongun !buy harpoon You can check current prices by using: !buy prices Harpoon guns have been known to malfunction, so make sure you have spares. When a pod is spotted sail to the direction it was spotted in. sail After you arrive in the quadrant whales will automatically be sighted in one of four directions: Port, Stern, Bow, Starboard harpoon Chances of hitting a whale: 1 in 2. Chances of Jamming your gun: 1 in 10. Chances of breaking your gun: 1 in 100. If more than one player enters the same location, that player will join the fray and be able to hunt the whales simultaneously. When more than one player is active in an encounter larger whales will sometimes be spotted. These larger whales are two big for any one fishing boat to take on, so they must be divided equally between two fishermen. Both players in that case will need to hit the whale in order to capture it. ========================================= Lobster _____ _ |_ _| (_) | |_ __ __ _ _ __ _ __ _ _ __ __ _ | | '__/ _` | '_ \| '_ \| | '_ \ / _` | | | | | (_| | |_) | |_) | | | | | (_| | \_/_| \__,_| .__/| .__/|_|_| |_|\__, | | | | | __/ | |_| |_| |___/ ========================================= Lobster Traps may be set in the deeper waters of the sub-regions of each cardinal direction location and Port as well. To build a trap use the following command: !build trap Once you have a trap built you can deploy it on the high seas! Sail to a sub-region (details in travel section below). After you arrive drop a trap using the following command: !placetrap Once a trap is set you must wait for it to mature. Once a trap is ready to be harvested you can use the following command to harvest it: !gettrap or !pulltrap The command can also be used to check if a trap has matured. If you want to pull your trap before it is ready to get the cage back you may do so by: !gettrap force ========================================= _____ ______ _____ _ _ _ _ | __ \| ___ \/ ___| | | | | (_) | | | \/| |_/ /\ `--. | | | |_ __ _| |_ | | __ | __/ `--. \ | | | | '_ \| | __| | |_\ \| | /\__/ / | |_| | | | | | |_ \____/\_| \____/ \___/|_| |_|_|\__| ========================================= You may purchase a GPS Unit from the pirate trader when you have enough coins. In order to complete a trade you must be in the same location as the other fisherman. You may also store trades so that its easier to propose the same trade repeatedly. Remember: when you propose a trade the items you offer are automatically seperated from your inventory and stored in an escrow area. You will only get these items back if you withdraw the trade, or the other fisherman declines the trade. Trade Operations ================ propose create -- create a trade proposal add -- add one or more items to an existing proposal remove -- remove one or more items from and existing proposal accept -- accept a proposal store -- store a trade proposal template, templates are assigned a unique id which the user will be able to list create -- create a trade proposal template modify -- modify an existing trade proposal template add -- add an item to an existing trade proposal template rem -- remove an item from an existing trade proposal template list -- list current trade proposal templates view -- view the contents a trade proposal template remove -- remove a trade proposal template withdraw -- remove a trade proposal you have previously created decline -- decline someone elses trade proposal gift -- create a one way trade proposal to give away your stuff list -- list all your current proposals view -- view one of your trade proposals check -- view a trade proposal to you from another fisherman Many trade commands utilize one or more lists of items. The quantity of these are always greater than zero. Lists are always defined using the following syntax: :,: The items refs are the same as the ones defined below in the Item List. Example: money:100,atl:5,drone:15 Sometimes you want to specify a list pair, where the things you are offering are in the first list and the things you are receiving are in the second list. In that case you would use a semicolon to seperate the two lists. Syntax: :,:;: Here you would be offering $100, 15 atl and 15 submarine drones for 200 oil barrels and 50 large clams: money:100,atl:5,drone:15;oilbarrels:200,largeclams:50 ====================================== ___ / _ \_ __ ___ _ __ ___ ___ ___ / /_)/ '__/ _ \| '_ \ / _ \/ __|/ _ \ / ___/| | | (_) | |_) | (_) \__ \ __/ \/ |_| \___/| .__/ \___/|___/\___| |_| ====================================== To propose a new trade you use the following syntax: !trade propose Where actions are: create, add, remove. ============================= ___ _ / __\ __ ___ __ _| |_ ___ / / | '__/ _ \/ _` | __/ _ \ / /__| | | __/ (_| | || __/ \____/_| \___|\__,_|\__\___| ============================= To create a new trade proposal: !trade propose create [template] [;] Where item lists use the format detailed above.
