A small shadow wavers and sways.
His freezing body, as it trembles and shivers,
wanders about within the dark forest.

Suzune cries for that lost child;
chirp, chirp; singing for him, saying [this way!].
The lone bird of guidance
encounters the child of Man.

The life I embraced within my arms;
so small; so fleeting; yet so noble.
So that smiling face will never disappear,
I vow to forever protect you.

The days that I spent with you
shined so brightly; dazzlingly; they pass by me in a flash,
as if merely a dream. I fear for the day
when the time comes for us to part at last.

Rain pours forth at the end of the dream;
