Harvest Moon SNES Marriage Speedrun Guide

The requirements for marriage are as follows:
Girl with 250 affection
1st House upgrade		(250 wood and 5000g)
Blue feather			(1000g)

Day 1:
Just do an any% run but without entering the code at the end of the day

Talking to Ellen:
Raise affection with Ellen by talking to her until she asks you a question, to which you give the first response.
You then enter and exit the farm shop to reset her dialogue.
Do this 25 times and then go back home and sleep

Heart Event:
The next day, Ellen will come to you and tell you that her bird has gone missing.
Go to the fishing spot in the mountains and interact with the bird to activate another cutscene where she thanks you
After this cutscene you will automatically go back home and sleep

Money:
There are 2 different method for obtaining the 6000g required for the run.

The first method is by catching fish and selling them for 300g each.
This is very reliant on luck, and can range from quick to slow

A more consistant method, is by sleeping until fall and shipping poison mushrooms for 200g each
You can also sell poison mushrooms to the Peddler on Sundays for 300g each

Wood:
No matter which money route you do, you are able to chop a good amount of wood when collecting the item you are planning on selling
Chop whatever wood is in your way, when getting items to sell.

If you are doing the poison mushroom route, you may have to chop some extra wood before hand.

Proposal:
You can buy the blue feather from the Peddler once Ellen has 250 affection and you have 1st house upgrade
Once you have the blue feather you then have to sleep until Saturday in order to propose to Ellen.
