Happy belated Thanksgiving to our American fans and a joyous season to the rest of you!
This patch brings the mod up to date with the latest version of HOI4 and hopefully fixes all issues with it.
A big reason for me getting out from modding for a bit has been the slow death of TNO which I've been submodding for since years back. Them officially erasing all playable content in Africa is just the final nail in the coffin for that thing. But from lemons to lemonade, that episode has helped me come back to appreciate KR again. For a long time when KR had a bit of a dry phase I used TNO submodding as a way to energize myself for this mod, and now that KR seems to be in a better spot and approaching it with a more positive mindset tackling some of the new content here helped get me back into the groove of things. KR deserves respect for standing the test of time, still keeping itself afloat and reinventing things. It's not always what grognards like me think would be ideal but it's nonetheless trucking on with substantial updates every now and then. I really have been negative towards KR for the past while, but honestly most of those problems just stem from it being a chore to submod for a lot of the time. Detached from that, there's a lot to like and be thankful for.

So! In the spirit of the season, I'm thankful to all of you that stayed with its mods through the ups and downs of my ability to deliver updates to you, and I'm thankful to Kaiserreich for showing me the joys of modding in the first place. I doubt any of the devs will ever read this but if they do, I hope their project keeps going to new strengths, and that they do right by their fans in the process.

Enjoy the update and as always feel free to yell at me if something's busted.

##NEW PORTRAITS##

ARM - Gregory Yeghikian - A removed ARM leader's portrait was re-added here.
AST - William John Rendell Scott - New portrait.
AZR - Repaired some renamed portraits. A bit late, but thanks for standardizing the naming convention here too!
BAT - Hermann von Salza - Repaired a renamed portrait.

CAN - Annie Buller - New portrait.
CAT - Jordi Arquer i Saltor - Relocated a removed guy's portrait over here.
COS - Jose Figueres Ferrer - I'm just so happy I get to add Asui Tsuyu's hero costume in a portrait. OK, so, old dev lore: Ferrer is Tsuyu because Wikipedia said that he was nicknamed "Don Pepe", which seemed like a fun joke back in 2018-ish. My long con to add more bodysuits paid off in the end!
ENG - Ivan Lyon - New portrait.
EQG - Jose Epita Mbomo - New portrait.
GEO - Kakutsa Cholokashvili - New portrait, old T-34-chan is going to Russia. Don't worry, still has the guy's fur hat so all's well in the world!
GER - Franz Jacob - New portrait, old one was pretty generic.
GER - Willi Munzenberg - New portrait.
HAI - Durce Armand - New portrait.
HAI - Joseph Jolibois Fils - Relocated an old deleted portrait here.
JAP - Hasegawa Kiyoshi - New portrait! I made an error with the last one, it had IJA symbols on the collar, whoops. Changed it for a shipgirl in a uniform based on a ship that the guy commanded IRL to remedy it. Old portrait is now a land warfare engineer in the science section!

LIB - Fixed some of the "remove a few and then add a few identical people" type of portraits.
MON - Tseren Ochiryn Dambadorj - New portrait.

NIC - Francisco Parajon Montealegre - New portrait. ngl seeing all these changes to the CA quartet makes me wanna play them again. Have you ever played them? They're some of the chillest tags in the mod. Just a comfy road to 37 and then a quick free for all. Very relaxing, would recommend. Even gave this one a fancy flag!

YUN - Fixed Tang's portrait as the "military" suffix was removed from his main.

##SCIENTISTS##

Oh my God these were so much fun to do. It's a shame that these dropped when I had checked out for a while. Really wish Paradox had done this sooner. Anyway: nearly 300 new portraits! And I'm so happy I got a chance to create so much new stuff that doesn't fit in anywhere else. It made making this stuff such a breath of fresh air like you wouldn't know. Literally the most fun I've had in years.

GENERIC - 134 new portraits! Jesus Christ there's 134 of these and they're all generics that might as well be normal civilians. All have been fulfilled from the general portrait reserve as well as a handful of more dedicated science-y types.

Would it surprise you to know that this was greenlit by Pacifica only to eventually be scrapped in favor of nothing ever happening? Whatever, really important tank designer!

##CLOSING NOTES##

I'll fix the sound and stuff in the next update probably, I'm kinda worn after dealing with all of TNO's 5000 forks.
I should get back to doing event pics too, it's been a while since they were updated.
Thanks again for putting up with me being away for a bit, I needed some time away from the hobby I think.
I also want to submod for TFR now that things are more chill, that seems like it'd be really fun.
