To a Woman Doing her Best Despite it All I am deeply moved by your letter, and the personal issues you have articulated. I do have some questions about what you have stated, but please note; I can only imagine the difficulties you and your family face, and my heart goes out to you in these trying time, however long past they may be. Well. Hearts, I should say. Between you and I, and the air between us only, I had a major issue several years ago, wherein someone attempted to destroy my Blood Matrix, just beneath my heart - The place where blood flows the most easily, and as such, is an exceptionally necessary component to do as I do. I was thankfully able to graft a second heart, made of blood stone, while my first one healed. And now, I have two. That aside - I understand that you have explored all avenues you could to find resolution to the issues you were facing, and I simply cannot find it in me to blame you for what has happened. Surely there were alternative methods opened to you, perhaps, and yet I know as well as most, how claustrophobic those options can seem, and how tantalizing others would become in their stead. And how others might trivialize your pains, so unaccustomed to such things, themselves. Could I ask further of Hopes biological mother...? I heard rumors she was birthed through the help of a knife, but little else after. And, when you state happiness through witchery, did you perhaps mean Fantasia...? I am honored that you have chosen to reach out to me; I can see you as a reflection to myself, as these letters are just as important to myself, however taboo it might seem, and I will do what I can to help. Within reason, of course. I will make inquiries to see if there are any resources available to you that can provide assistance in these matters. Do you happen to know if the proof you hold is clonable? If it is on paper...? Additionally, I need you to know, beyond that, that I am available to discuss your situation further if you think it would be helpful. Even face to face, if need be - Sometimes, emotion can only crack from where the soul once was. And it is what seeps out which is the most important to collect. My thoughts and prayers, however distasteful they might before someone in your position, are with you and your family through this difficult journey. I am glad Hope is doing fine, after others had finished with their unnecessary hunt of her. Sincerely, From a Man Doing his best Despite everything, Sinclair D. Adaira Baron of once-Blood Rose
