the girl was born in chengdu. the girl was born with lower stamina than the rest. of course, because of that, her parents rarely let the girl our. she was fine with it anyways, she doesn't like going out in the world to begin with. she was often seen just reading or drawing. sometimes her parents would be out and it would only be her and her big brother xiaolang. the two would always find ways to pass by time - stuck in their own imaginative world where he was a knight and she was his princess.
   of course, when growing up, her brother became rather rowdy and would come home from school with some injuries. at first, she was always worried, scolding him to take care of himself better but soon just got used to it and treated his wounds and cooking for them.

mingyue and xiaolang was bored one day and decided to check out the study room to find some books. what the two didn't know is that her parents' albums of shinhwa were in there. the two used the whole day to listen to it and both soon fell in love with music. sometimes even using their father's laptop to search videos of shinhwa and other artists. when they asked for a camera one day, their parents questioned it but didn't say anything.
  when they went home one day and saw the camera resting on the table, the parents checked it and saw a video of mingyue singing. xiaolang's voice of compliments were also heard. the parents smiled. soon, when they were watching the voice of china, their mother suddenly asked mingyue if she wanted to join it. mingyue, being ecstatic, immediately said yes.

soon after the third season of the voice of china has ended, she was scouted and was hesitant to join. after discussing the topic to her family, they all were happy to support the girl - saying that she should at least try and to not waste her talent. after pondering for it for almost a week, she agrees to the offer and joined the company.
   when she was put into the line-up after two years of training, she was excited. her hard work had paid off! she thought. sadly, what she didn't realize is how hard it is for her to handle the members' shenanigans.
