I'd like to suggest a few changes and buffs/nerfs to the aggro/enmity generation system. But first I'd like to explain something... from what I know, there's a 1:1 hate/enmity generation for every damage to HP dealt and HP restored. As aggro/enmity points are accumulated, the enmity bars on character class/job icons start rising slower due to how many points have been accumulated. This should really change with the addition of more hate/enmity/aggro buffs/nerfs, etc. >> Cover Skill << The Cover Skill from Paladin should REMOVE (Yes, REMOVE) Enmity/aggro points for the target you are covering. So, let's say a ninja has 18000 Aggro points on an enemy. The cover skill would REMOVE points from that pool when the paladin uses cover on that ninja every second, let's say 100 points per second. Which would bring the points down to 16800 points instead. >> Circle of Scorn << Circle of Scorn had enmity added to it in a recent patch, but it wasn't quite enough. Please add enmity generation to the DOT as well, not just the initial skill use. >> Stealth + Skill Combo << The Ninja Stealth skill should negate ALL aggro of the next skill that is used, since the enemy "Won't know what hit them" when you use said skill. >> Rampart / Awareness << For every enemy that is currently aggro'd to you, you gain aggro points. IE: 10-20 per enemy. For every hit dealt to you, the enemies gain more aggro points to you rather than other players. >> Convalescence << This skill should negate the enmity added by the extra incoming heal amounts rather than allowing the healer to gain more enmity due to increased heals. >> Status Effect Trait << Tank classes should acquire a trait that allows them to generate more enmity when a dot / debuff is applied to the monster. (IE: If I use stun on an enemy, it will generate more aggro on top of the damage, due to stun being used.) This won't work for other player debuffs and DOTs however. >> Shield Oath / Defiance << Alter this so that dot enmity generation is reduced to 0.5:1 rather than 1:1 per damage. >> Raise / Resurrection << Alter this so that it negates hate/enmity generation granted by the heal when the player is resurrected. >> Hallowed Ground << Should be changed so that it is truly instant rather than having to wait for the animation. >> Rage of Halone << Should increase enmity gain / potency to that of Spirits Within when fully combo'd. >> Overpower << Should have its TP Use reduced by 20-45. Lots of players complain that WARs use too much TP when they overpower spam. >> General << MP recovered by Riot Blade should have aggro/enmity generated.
