He's loud and lacks a filter on his mouth, which does not help the fact that he's a social butterfly. He seems to be constantly yelling given he literally has no inside voice. He has no clue what the word "quiet" means and his name is probably under the definition of loud. He speaks his mind without thinking of the consequences beforehand but he is quick to apologize if he offended anyone. He is constantly joking around and is always that one person who randomly says something totally unrelated to the topic at hand. He is easily fired up and can be very hard to handle. He has way too much energy for a 6 foot tall, 15-year-old. Sadly, he has something that works at a great disadvantage to his energy levels and height: clumsiness. Percival is very, VERY clumsy and is always bumping into inanimate objects as well as people. There's always a random bruise somewhere on his limbs from where he bumped into something or someone, whether it be knowingly or not. Given he's always talking to someone about something, his mind is never on where he's going so it's easy for him to bump into stuff. His friends and family members have gotten into the habit of just grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the way of whatever he's about crash into. Percy isn't easily angered but is definitely not someone you want to start an argument with because, as said, he's easily fired up and it will get out of hand quite easily with his loud tendencies. This has labeled him as the 'tough' guy, for some odd reason. Yes, he's tall (ish) and won't hesitate to go all ninja warrior on your ass if you mess with his friends or his food but he is by no means tough. Percival is very easily scared by totally unscary things and won't even try to play it off. When he's scared, he's terrified and will latch onto the nearest person while screaming hysterically. Percival is also a bit moody but not really, it's mostly just an act. He'll very casually just act offended and unhappy so the person who "upset" him will give him the attention he wholeheartedly believes that he deserves. He is constantly smiling and talking to everyone, his aura always brightening up the room. Percival, upon first meeting someone, always pulls an intimidating face and stance, both of which are sometimes difficult for the undeniably pretty boy. He always pulls this intimidating move to try and scare new people, keyword: try. When they get to know him, they learn he's really just an over-excited puppy dog with a volume problem. He does this because of his past with bullying. He just doesn't want him nor his friends to get involved with the wrong people, even if they wouldn't even dare push the boundaries with Percival's energetic, loud ways. Although he has a disability to stay quiet and serious for more than .05 seconds, Percy is quite responsible and caring. He holds a deep fondness for his friends and will go to great lengths to make sure they're happy. He absolutely hates when people he is close to aren't happy. He actually gives good advice when the moment presents itself. He is protective of the people he's close to and will literally fight anyone who upsets them or talks bad about them. Despite the fact that Percival is loud and a total ray of sunshine, he is actually quite insecure. He has always lacked confidence in his abilities and appearance since a bullying incident during his childhood. He often overworks himself to perfect his abilities. Some days, he practices until he is drenched in sweat and barely functioning enough to leave. Other days, he won't even leave the gym and will practice until he collapses. All throughout his childhood, he'd always been a bright, happy-go-lucky kid who befriended everyone and was loved by everyone. His twin sister, on the other hand, was the total opposite. She was subject to bullying but she never told Percy because of his protective tendencies over her. When he did find out, he tried to get involved to help his sister but he only fell victim to it as well. Though not for long, the bullying really took a blow at his self-esteem. That year, when he was 7 years old, three important things happened in Percy's life. One, his parents divorced. Two, he, his mother, and his siblings, all moved to Busan, South Korea. And three, his younger brother, Oliver, was born nine months after they moved. The move and change of scenery was a whole new thing for the biracial boy and his siblings but they adapted quickly. He came to love the culture and their new lifestyle, despite the strange looks and harsh comments he earned from classmates thanks to his tan skin. The following year, Percy befriended the apartment building's maintenance man, Byun Ryeojun. After finding out that his new friend was a former boxer and a boxing coach at the nearby school, he begged and pleaded the man to teach him to box. Seeing no harm in teaching him, Ryeojun agreed and he eventually learned that the loud Italian boy was a natural, at both boxing and matchmaking. After forming a bond with Ryeojun, he made it his mission to set up the man and his mother. Somehow, this mischief-maker managed to succeed in his little mission, earning himself a happy mother and a new dad. In the months and years afterwards, Ryeojun took the dedicated Percival to many boxing competitions and even ensured that he would have a spot in his boxing club in high school. Although Percival was well-known in the area for being friendly and kind, there were quite a few kids his age who strongly disliked him both out of jealousy and fear. Jealousy for how easily he got people to like him and fear at his boxing skills. During his last year of middle school, on one of the rare days they were released early, this group of kids cornered him. Normal people would have been scared to be surrounded by five "rough-looking bad boys". Well, Percival isn't normal. In fact, he started laughing when one of the boys insulted him, firing back an "Is that seriously the best insult you can come up with?" between his loud laughs. In truth, Percy was just planning to walk away from them to avoid conflict, given he promised himself to never fight anyone weaker than him. He thought the group of five would have been smart enough to just leave him alone and let him go on his way. Well, let's just say, in all fairness, one of those boys threw the first punch and Percival just reacted in self-defense. That day, he hospitalized two of the five boys and severely injured two others; the fifth one had run away. Of course, this fight didn't go unnoticed nor did Percival's actions go unpunished. He was given after school detention for three months, which was what they called lenient punishment, and was kicked out of his middle school boxing club. Not only that, the high school where his step-dad worked as a boxing coach revoked the boxing scholarship they had laid out for him since fighting, outside of the boxing club, was against the school policy. As his middle school graduation neared, he still hadn't found a school that would allow him in. Luckily for him, a school in Seoul had heard of his reputation within the boxing community, given he regularly trained with his step-dad at a local boxing gym and still competed outside of the school competitions. He was offered a scholarship to the school, to his immense relief, and was soon packing his bags to move in to the dorms there after graduation. (One, I had no clue which city the school will be so I just put Seoul. Two, I had no clue how to end this.) WHY THEY MOVED TO KOREA | Percival moved to South Korea because his parents divorced. The already born Moretti children, Percy and his twin sister, both chose to go with their mom to South Korea since they had always been closer to her. Their mom chose to move because she had family in South Korea and was comfortable knowing she could rely on her family to help them get back on their feet. LANGUAGES | [Italian] this is his first language. he grew up speaking it and is fluent. [Korean] this is his second language. he also grew up speaking it but not in the way he was constantly speaking it. he was semi-fluent when they moved to South Korea and is somewhat fluent now; he still struggles sometimes. [Thai] he asked his mom to teach him this language because he was interested in learning more about his cultural heritage. he also wanted to learn because he wanted to know if his mom's family was talking about him badly whenever they visited. he is only semi-fluent and sometimes struggles with pronunciation. »RUN« FAVORITE CLASS AND WHY | His favorite subject is science because he finds extremely interesting. Surprisingly, it's the only subject he's genuinely good at. He's not the smartest person but, when it comes to science, he's literally Einstein. Although he's good at it, it's wise not to pair up with him for any experiments, especially if it involves chemicals. I cannot stress enough how incredibly intelligent he is when it comes to science but how incredibly dumb he is when it comes to any other subjects, well, besides boxing. He could seriously become a scientist, doctor, or anything else that involves any form of scientific knowledge. He's super friendly and open-minded so he wouldn't be cautious of him for more than .0005 seconds. HOW YOU ACT AROUND THEM | (i switched these around because it made more sense when I wrote the descriptions) In the beginning, he's sorta unsure of what to do but, thanks to his natural tendency to touch people, he easily gets his love interest blushing. He gets nervous around his love interest but also more talkative, if that's even possible. He stutters a bit when his love interest returns flirtatious actions or just acknowledges him. He's also super easily jealous and will glare at anyone who seems to be getting a little too friendly with his love interest. Towards the middle, Percival finally works up the nerve to ask his love interest out but, knowing this lil bean, he has no clue on how to go about it so he asks one of the other club members, who goes ballistic and ends up shouting it to the whole club, ending with a blushing and embarrassed Percy. He's more confident in himself and his actions around his love interest. He's still a jealous little shit. He's huge on skinship so he's almost constantly touching his love interest, whether it be brushing shoulders or sitting on his love interest's lap. He is also more conscious of his actions and tries his best to fix his insecure habits, more specifically his refusal to look into a mirror. In the end, it's safe to say his love interest has him wrapped around his finger. He'd literally do anything for him and is a hopeless romantic when it comes to him. He is super confident and wayyyyyy more perverted and touchy, which often makes their club members tease them even though Percy just smiles and shrugs. He is very easily jealous and protective of his love interest and will literally fight anyone who makes them upset. HOW THEY ACT AROUND YOU | (damn hoe idk) He'd probably be someone who is super aware of Percy's feelings for him before Percy even fully realizes it. He uses that to tease him, if you catch my drift. Although, he turns into a blushing mess when Percy touches him. He returns his flirtatious actions and words with just as much suggestiveness that Percival would put in. He definitely knows of Percy's jealous tendencies and purposefully is "a little too friendly" with other club members or other people in general. When their fellow club member came stampeding through the club room screaming about Percy wanting to ask him out, he probably would get super blushy and excited but he also feels bad since he knows how shy Percy can be when it comes to these things so he goes to find Percival, who is burying his face in his hands in absolute embarrassment. They are definitely that one couple that has so much sexual tension that you can literally feel it. Percy's love interest loves the attention he gets from him and he literally flaunts it, knowing the other club members have never and will never experience the pretty boy being so romantic. In the end, he is definitely more comfortable and confident around Percival in the sense that they know each other on another level past friends. He is just as touchy as Percy is and it almost seems like a contest to see who can get the other the most flustered. He knows how protective Percy is of people but, now, it's specifically aimed towards him. He loves to push the boundaries and latch himself to another group member to see Percy's reaction.
