Instead they wanted their kids to work for what they wanted, just like they had to do. Since her parents were going to be busy all the time, they put Na-eun into dance classes while her brother was put into sports. By eight it was obvious Na-eun was going to make it big for she had this special spark about her, and she actually found out she loved to sing at that time. Her parents had to move the family to America because they wanted to start a company there so Na-eun, only nine at the time, had to quit dance classes. At eleven, they moved back to Korea and instead of going back into dance classes Na-eun decided to try out for three companies. Na-eun got accepted into a company at twelve years old, but the company started to face financial problems. At thirteen, the CEO asked Na-eun if she could give money to keep the company up, but Na-eun knew that wasn't a smart idea and instead left the company for she signed an one year contact that was up. Na-eun didn't give up because she wanted to be an idol and instead tried again. Finally at fourteen she got accepted into JYP, and ended up debuting in the girl group BURN at sixteen. Things seem to be going good, but then the girl's leader left the group because of all the hate she was receiving, which put the girl's and fans at shock yet they kept continuing on even with a spot missing. When nineteen Na-eun world turned upside down when a video of her telling a sasaeng, who claimed to just be a fan at the time, "leave me alone" got out.
