Motown High gets a visit from the student council president and vice-president of the premier high school First Church of Utopia. First Church is the alternative high school to Motown High; while Motown High shows a huge class divide, First Church is a toff school designed so that the entire structure can safely retreat underground into an enormous bomb shelter. Lisa and Jack are escorted across school grounds by the student secretary Amelia and the councillor Frank. When temporarily left to their own devices in the Motown student councillors' office, Lisa starts getting touchy-feely with Jack and talking about their arranged marriage - something she's clearly much more on board with than he is - and the two wind up in a compromising situation that is quickly caught on candid camera by amateur sleuth photographer Conner Jones jumping out of a set of office drawers. Conner can't wait to take the photo back to the Photography Club as proof of his mettle, but when Lisa and Jack beg him to delete it, he assumes they're just the usual high-class students too wound up over their own reputation and he gets prickly - why are they in the office to begin with? He didn't hear things very well in the set of drawers. Jack's cover story is that they're cousins. Conner doesn't buy it [and the uniforms are a dead giveaway something's up], but it's clearly a secret these people are desperate to keep. He's about to begrudgingly delete it, but he's interrupted when the Motown councillors enter the office. They're almost not surprised Conner showed up as well. From the professional exchanges between the Motown student staff and Lisa/Jack, Conner quickly realises he almost accidentally blackmailed a pair of councillors from a different school. In fact, he soon learns that Jack is the step-brother of Princess "Stacy" Daughter, the step-son of Mother Queen [or Queen Mother]. He sees they're humble and nervous and kind - rather than being toffs, they're just innocent kids with a lot on their plate. A far stone's throw away from the demeanour Princess affects. Conner also doesn't know if Princess Daughter knows about the First Church students' secret. Because Conner has raised suspicion as to what he was doing in the room, Amelia wants to check the security tapes - which would also implicate Lisa and Jack. Amelia indicates a moving panel on the wall with a television monitor, which Conner mistakenly assumes holds the tape and will play it shortly - he demolishes the screen with his foot as everyone watches, then bolts out of the office windows and darts across the field outside. He still has his camera and is fiddling with the menu to delete the snaps. The councillors look to Bucky, who gives Conner a sporting 5-second head start before showing up in front of him, camera in hand. Desperate and out of other ideas, Conner confides in Bucky about keeping the foreign councillors' secret - "Secret? Oh, you mean the marriage thing?" The Motown councillors already knew. Conner seems perplexed, why did they act like it was a big thing to hide? Probably because they were intimidated by a vagrant in handcuffs who ambushed them. Conner takes umbrage at the slight against his professional appearance. Conner isn't let off the hook for destroying the tape, but he's allowed to take the commemorative photo of Lisa and Jack with Princess Daughter, Bucky et al that will feature in the school paper.
