-- Hallowed Halls (Saeko Meina) -- **Music or Similar:** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubM3VtcmWnw I wanted her theme to be orchestral, moving, etc. She's the type of woman who doesn't battle normally, and getting her to actually battle for once would require a lot of determination and heart. **Leading Halls:** Unlike normal trials, this one works similar to raids, it will have a series of trash enemies and maybe one minor boss fight before the main event. All of these would be templars, paladins, holy guards, etc. Various mechanics for the boss herself would be teased in these halls, such as healing, etc. **Pre-Boss:** Saeko Meina is standing in a large circular conference platform, she's looking away from the party, holding her staff close to her chest. She has medium-long brown earthly hair, radiant, divine white dress/gown befitting of a true white mage of a sort. She is a female Au Ra, Raen with pinkish calming cherry blossom eyes/limbal rings. Upon attempting to attack her, she will suddenly push back the entire party with divine energy saying, "...Do you always rush in...? Do you always... have this kind of malice within you?" She slowly turns, "If so, then it will be my duty to help heal you to your very soul, whether or not you like it." She will go into an attack stance, awaiting for a second true pull from the tank. **Phase 1:** Normal Boss mechanics are at play here, she will sometimes mix it up with a large ring AoE, where everything but close to her is not safe (a larger variant of Blackbosom's "In Health.") Every now and then, she will cast Silence on a healer or caster DPS, or Pacification on MCH/BRDs, these last up to 5 seconds and have no resist caps (they will always be 5 seconds.) She will also cast Cure when she's below 100% HP at random intervals, she can be silenced/stunned only when casting healing spells in this phase similar to the final boss of Amdapor City (Hard). **Phase 2:** When she reaches 75% HP, she will immediately do "Advent," and push everyone away to the edge of the arena. Afterward, she will cast Hybridal Stoneskin (Magic/Physical) and begin casting Cure IV. If allowed to get off, her HP will return to full, and Phase 1 will start over again. If the stoneskins are removed, at least 1 point of damage will cause Saeko Meina to stagger for upwards of 30 seconds (5 seconds less each time.) She will advent after every stagger and resume the stoneskin/etc. once more. **Phase 3:** Once she reaches 50% HP, she will start casting "Ominous Advent," a slowcasting roomwide that will cause half HP damage to everyone. She will say when this cast begins, "You leave me no choice, I must... tap into my other self." Once the cast finishes, she will add, "Forgive me..." and everyone will be knocked back and bound for a short period of time. The lights in the building will dim, weather will turn tension, and her clothes will stain black, her eyes going firey orange, and her hair blacker than night. Her staff turning an eerie purple as she slams down to the floor after having been floating for her transformation. "I am the darkness within, know thy sins, and live with them! For you shall know no respite!" She will exclaim. During Phase 3 / "Dark Saeko," she will cast at 3 random players "Cure II" red circle AoEs like the last boss of Amdapor City (Hard), if the circles are touching, they will knockback anyone nearby in the opposite direction they were facing. She will cast 'Summon II," and summon forth a large dark variant of Selene who will need to be tanked away from Dark Saeko or else the two tether and regenerate eachother's HP. Every now and then, the Dark Selene will attempt casting "Embrace" on a random player, if this occurs, Selene will rush to that player, damaging them with a strong hug of sorts before dropping them in a random location. All the while, players will still be targeted for with Cure II red circles, etc. Dark Selene will also randomly choose a player to "Fey Caress," which will cause them to be seduced, and walk toward Dark Selene, in which Dark Saeko will be guaranteed to choose them for Cure II the next time she casts it while Seduce is up. **!! ENRAGE !!** If Dark Selene is not defeated before Dark Saeko checks for Phase 4 (25% HP) then Dark Selene and Saeko will come together and start casting "Hollow Embrace." When this cast finishes, all players are seduced. Both bosses break apart, a large purple orb is left in the center... players are sucked in and they soon rush toward eachother once more, embracing the large purple orb... soon destroying it, and all the players within. **Phase 4:** When Dark Saeko's HP drops to 25% and Dark Selene is defeated, she will do another advent, forcing players to be shot to the edges of the arena. She will begin casting Cure IV, much slower this time, and a pulsating roomwide with an origin point underneath her. Several smaller dark selenes will start slowly pathing toward Dark Saeko. Similar to cloud of darkness, they can be slowed down by standing between Dark Saeko and each dark selene. Each Dark Selene causes Dark Saeko to get a permanent Damage Up Stack if they reach the origin point below Dark Saeko. Once this DPS Check ends, Cure IV will be cast, causing players to be hit for half their HP (or more based on how many damage ups were added.) Dark Saeko will then re-cast Summon II to summon the large Dark Selene again. This time, players must defeat Dark Saeko before the enrage hits (timer.) In addition, Dark Saeko will randomly start casting Cure IV again, and/or Cure IIs (four players this time.) **REWARDS:** *Guaranteed 1x of each:* * Divine / White / Holy Weapons for Each Job. * General-purpose Pure White Dye (Untradable) *Ultra/Rare:* * Scholar Training Manual: Darkness Within (Enables /egiglamour "Dark Selene."
