Okay..so we talk about voice performance. I understand what you mean hiring new voice actors to provide greater quality of work. I like most of the new VO lines, but the ones that I didn't like were.. Ashe and Karma. Melissa Hutchison was the right fit, but the new lines were bad. 

For Karma.. I don't understand why RiotRunaan changed her story and made it all messier. I don't want to disqualify Rashida Clendening, but I felt like you guys were at the wrong character and the wrong VA. Her lines were overly forced and players could tell. 

I think Heimerdinger's new voice vs old voice and new rework are what should be the benchmark for all reworks, even in VO and Visual Design. The same lines are used, but additional ones were added and the original VA was called in to record again. That was some rework well done.

While cases like Ashe was that she was turned in to a somewhat girly, less serious Princess while Karma went from calm/composed to this darker lady who barely understood what struggle meant. One was having the right VA but wrong lines, the other was wrong VA, wrong lines but right initial VA.

Don't you think that is a mess? I am one for strong characters and lore (Ashe and Old Karma both have some headstrong personality). But I won't agree to changing their personality based on their voice lines. Ashe's lines can be salvaged but Karma's couldn't be. What do you think? 

I am more of a lore person, if you wish to develop their personality, change the lore, but keep the same personality and slightly alter the tone, but don't stray too far from it. I remembered Runaan heavily for her screw ups with Karma and Trundle's Lore & VO (she acknowledged it). 

It makes me more pissed that she left things as they were. Will there be revisits for her mistakes? I get how you explained Tristana's rework and Elspeth too. I suppose that is one exception to it, but on a Karma/Trundle scale, not so much. Another good VO was Sivir's, brilliant. 

My whole point is, Heimerdinger/Sivir = acceptable/benchmark, Karma = unacceptable, Trundle = borderline, Tristana = new but fits (benchmark then). What do you think about Rashida Clendening? Seriously, I think her voice could be given to a new champion. Also, was Sivir voiced by Pudding?

Oh and lastly, do you like Danielle McRae? She's one of the rare VOs who I find can really voice calm and composed tones without sounding forced.
