  14. [12:32] <buggaboosanchez> nitind: I downloaded this package about 4 days ago "eclipse-jee-oxygen-R-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz" and I can not find any *-inst file in the decompressed directory.
  15. [12:33] <nitind> That's a packaged installation. If you want the installer, download the installer.
  16. [12:37] <buggaboosanchez> nitind: How does the installer install? Is it a net install or somethign?
  17. [12:38] <nitind> buggaboosanchez: I believe so.
  18. [12:38] <buggaboosanchez> nitind: Thank you so much for your help
  19. [12:38] <buggaboosanchez> I will share this with other Ubuntu users as best I can

  23. <buggaboosanchez> nitind: Do ou mind if your nick shows up in a public paste shared on #ubuntu ? I would loke to share this dialogue with other Ubuntu users because htere is not currently available information on the problem.
  24. [12:46] <buggaboosanchez> *like*
  25. [12:47] <nitind> Id' be concerned that it comes across as not helpful for anyone who doesn't see that there are two different kinds of downloads there, the installers and the packages. But otherwise, no, it can be included.
  26. [12:49] <buggaboosanchez> nitind: Thank you. I will leave it to them to decide if it's helpful. I just want to try and contribute as best I know how.
  27. [12:49] <buggaboosanchez> Peace
