- * 400g lean mince
- * 200g pancetta
- * 1 large onion, diced
- * 1 carrot, finely diced
- * 2 celery sticks, finely diced
- * 2 cloves of garlic
- * 2 tins of chopped tomatoes
- * Glug of red wine
- * Loads of finely chopped basil
- * Tomato puree to taste
- * Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- * 1 tablespoon of parmesan
- 1. Sweat garlic, pancetta, onion, celery and carrot in a large pan
- 2. Add mince, brown it
- 3. Add tomatoes, stir in
- 4. Add everything else, adjusting to taste as you cook it over the next few hours
- 5. After a good few hours on a low heat, serve with fresh spaghetti, topped with fresh basi leaves and parmesan
