One that is used is the Hawk-eye technology. This technology uses 6-7 high-end cameras situated above the field of play (e.g. a birds-eye view) to analyse the flight and trajectory of an object being used in sports competition. Most commonly used in tennis, cricket, rugby and volleyball. Another technological feature that is used is in sport is the VAR (video assistant referee). This is a device used to help assist referees in their decision making of a particular situation. They use this to help review their choices and decision.
