You are an alien invader on the planet Earth. You seek to find the cure for Space
 Influenza. You enter Paris and meet a woman named Marie, who is also looking
 for the cure. She has been infected with the virus and you must help her.

The game starts off pretty easy as you travel around Paris trying to get to Marie's
 apartment

You head to the mime troupe that performs at the theater where Marie lives. They
 are performing in a play called "La Vie en Rose" which means "The Wind in the
 Willows"

You walk into the theater and see the mimes doing their routine. You shoot them
 all dead before they can do anything. The audience goes wild.
You continue your quest to find Marie's apartment. You go through several streets
 until you finally reach it

You enter the apartment building and find yourself in an elevator. It takes you
 up to the 20th floor, but then suddenly stops. A voice comes on the intercom
 saying

A man's voice says "Hello? Is this Mr. Smith?"

You follow the man upstairs to a room with a large bed and a desk. He sits down
 behind his desk and begins typing on a computer

 stand back and sigh. You now know what Marie was talking about when she said
 you were going to be famous

Years pass..

One day while you're sitting at your desk writing a letter to Marie you suddenly
 remember something. You realize that if you could travel back in time, you would
 be able to cure everyone of whatever disease or illness they had. You immediately
 start working on a plan to do so

You quickly gather some supplies and set off to build a time machine. You spend
 hours researching how to create one and eventually you succeed. You then proceed
 to put it together and try to travel back in time to save Marie

You travel back in time and stop the creation of the universe. You are successful
 and return home. Your family is happy and proud of you. You are also happy because
 you saved Marie from certain death

You soon discover that the paradox caused by your actions has created another
 universe. In this new universe Marie died. She was killed by your actions. You
 are angry and sad at the same time. You vow revenge on the man who killed you.
 You decide to travel back in time and kill him

 to find your family happy and proud of you. You are also happy because you saved
 Marie from certain death

 is to travel back in time and kill the man who imprisoned you

 to it and watch as it burns. You then travel back in time and kill the man who
 imprisoned you
