  1. HUMANS
  2. A race that has been around since the start of the empire, and spans the entirety of its borders. No one is sure where they come from. Some say they are devolved elves caused by dragon experiments, while others say they are unfinished works of the god. The humans hold no direct patron deity, and they are as varied as they are wide-spanning.

  4. Racial HP: 10
  5. +2 to any one ability score - Humans are varied and adaptable in both genetics and mentality.
  6. Humanoid (human), Medium size.
  7. Human base speed is 30 feet.
  8. Human Luck: Humans receive a +1 racial bonus on all saving throws.
  9. Skilled: Humans gain an additional skill rank at 1st level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
  10. Focused Study: At 1st, 8th, and 16th level, members of this race gain Skill Focus in a skill of their choice as a bonus feat.

  12. DARK ELVES
  13. The lives of the dark elves have not been easy. They often live in the ruins of the Sun Elves, their pre-Empire ancestors who all mysteriously vanished. The language on the walls is not theirs, they have no cultural recollection of the past, and much of their time is deciphering what they can of an incredibly hazy past. While most of their kind live in the shadow of the past, the fall of the Draconic Empire has given rise to the idea of the need for a true culture.

  16. +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma - Dark elves are swift in both and mind, but often fail to connect with others.
  17. Humanoid (elf), Medium size.
  18. Dark Elf base speed is 30 feet.
  19. Weapon Familiarity: Dark Elves are proficient with the hand crossbow, rapier, and shortsword.
  20. Elven Trance: Dark Elves do not sleep, but are rather put into a state of decreased brain activity called a trance. They are partially aware and can roll Perception checks at a -5 penalty while in a trance. Dark elves also gain an immunity to magical sleep effects and are fully rested after four hours of sleep.
  21. Keen Senses: Dark elves gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
  22. Spell-Like Abilities (Su): Dark elves can cast dancing lights, darkness, and faerie fire, once each per day, using their total character levels as caster level.

  25. HOBGOBLINS
  26. Once the backbone of the Draconic Empire's military force, which ensured the stability of its borders from rebellion and threats, hobgoblins have become listless and wary about their future. Most hobgoblin clans refuse to settle down into civilian life and have become wandering marauders, mercenary bands, or integrated themselves as a military force for a foreign city-state. To be a hobgoblin is to fight for clan honor and nation, and either lacking a clan or a nation means that a hobgoblin is often without purpose.

  29. +2 Dexterity, +2 Constitution - Hobgoblins are faster and hardier than most races.
  30. Humanoid (Goblinoid), medium size.
  31. Hobgoblin base speed is 30 feet.
  32. Warband Tactics: Hobgoblins receive a teamwork feat as a bonus feat. They must meet the prerequisites for this feat. As a standard action, the hobgoblins can grant this feat to all allies within 30 feet who can see and hear them. Allies retain the use of this bonus feat for 1 minute per character level. Allies do not need to meet the prerequisites of these bonus feats. The hobgoblin can use this ability once per day. This ability stacks with Tactician or similar features.
  33. Second Skin: Hobgoblins are used to wearing armor. They are proficient with light armor and shields. While wearing armor or carrying a shield, lower their collective armor check penalty by 2 and their arcane chance failure by 10%.

  35. GOBLINS
  36. One of the first races to join the Draconic Empire, and one of the least affected by it. Goblins are a race that put their community above all else. Goblins love to travel, but only for work. They used to be a common sight among the many metropolises that dotted the landscape, but the fall has left the amount of urban environments lacking for their people. Very few goblins are ambitious, but their love of company and companions combined with a longing for their old life means that adventurers can crop up from any corner.

  39. +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, -2 Strength - A goblin may be weak, but their nimble bodies and sociability more than makes up for it.
  40. Humanoid (Goblin), small size.
  41. Goblin base speed is 30 feet.
  42. Swarming: Goblins are used to living and fighting communally with other members of their race. Up to two goblins can share the same square at the same time. If two goblins that are occupying the same square attack the same foe, they are considered to be flanking that foe as if they were in two opposite squares.
  43. Urbanite: Goblins get a +2 racial bonus to Diplomacy, Knowledge (Local), and Sense Motive.
