<@Flareyteller> A second person is bringing gifts to the home base of the Northern Children; a dark skinned young dragonblooded with long purple hair that goes to her feet in a ponytail. She is wearing a beaded gorget of jade and a matching headband. For clothes she wears a rather revealing outfit of a panty-like bottom with a loin cloth and a pair of cloth coverings....
<@Flareyteller> For her chest. Her shoes are tall platforms. But the weirdest thing is that she has a pair of purple colored rabbits ears on her head, swiveling like they're alive.
<Jiro_Gin> "Uh...hey?"  Gin is sat in the common room while the others are elsewhere, already making herself at home with her feet up on something they probably shouldn't be on. She has at least taken her boots off.
<@Flareyteller> "Ah! Honorable Guest! Welcome to our hospitality!"
<@Flareyteller> She llaces
<@Flareyteller> She places a tray of rainbow colored beads down on the table, complete with string to slide through them. "How are you this magnificent day?"
<@Flareyteller> She has normal ears too.
<Jiro_Gin> "A little tired from the trip," she's examining the ears from where she's sat, trying to work out if they're mechanical. "Ok...just what are those things?"
<@Flareyteller> "A sorcerous working to help myself discover water and food in the desert, given to me by Lord Hantei the Emperor's Seneschal as a gift to my family."
<Jiro_Gin> "And what family is that? Sorry...I'm sure some of the others had things like that memorised before they got here"
<@Flareyteller> "My most honorable family is Ayusei. I am the daughter of the Sand Strider Alaqa, the humble Ayusei Nitiqreti. Please accept my humble appearance."
<Jiro_Gin> "I'm Jiro Gin, and you don't have to be so formal. You're going to make me get up and bow to you so I don't feel rude."
* Jiro_Gin waves to a nearby seat

* Jiro_Gin smiles a little. "Just Gin is fine."
<@Flareyteller> "Of course, Lady Gin."
<Jiro_Gin> "You know you've not actually told me your name yet"
<@Flareyteller> "I did, my Lady."
<Jiro_Gin> (oh, rewind that, I totally misread the line before)
<Jiro_Gin> (I thought she was saying the Sand Strider was Ayusei Nitiqreti)

<@Flareyteller> (No, Alaqa is the Sand Strider and her mother)
<Jiro_Gin> "So, Lady Nitiqreti," she makes a point of using the formal name back as a way of trying to make her just use Gin. "What brings you by? What's with all the beads?"
<@Flareyteller> "I simply wished to introduce our esteemed guests to some of our culture. The Ayusei make these beads from the sand we gather as we walk. Then we color them and create jewelry. I had hoped to share that culture with you all."
<Jiro_Gin> "You gather sand as you walk?"
<@Flareyteller> "As we walk through the desert, yes. My tribe is a nomadic one that wanders the sands."
<Jiro_Gin> "Oh, I thought you meant it stuck to you or something."
* Jiro_Gin sits up and looks at the beads. "Kalire's either going to love you or think you're competition"
<@Flareyteller> "No more then normal Sand. My shoes allow me to use essence to avoid sinking in the sand." She says. "I hope the Princess of Tides does not find me competition, I only seek to welcome our honored guests."
<Jiro_Gin> "She seems friendly enough that she'll love you."  Gin picks up a couple of the beads to examine. "Do you just make beads?"
<@Flareyteller> "What do you mean my Lady?"
<Jiro_Gin> "With the sand, it looks like you could make some interesting shapes with them."
<@Flareyteller> "Oh like sand flowers and the like. They are a possibility but we do not use them for jewelry."
<@Flareyteller> Glass flowers
<Jiro_Gin> "And you paint them after you've made them into glass?"
