Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to form a judgment. The subject is complex, and there are several different definitions which generally include the rational, skeptical, unbiased analysis or evaluation of factual evidence.

Factors which block you from critical thinking are personal interests, assumptions, or influence from social groups.

3.	Critical thinking should include creativity. What is creativity?

Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed.

The Paretro principle specifies an unequal relationship between inputs and outputs.

5.	What critical thinking method is similar to the fishbone diagram?

The brainstorming is a critical thinking method which is similar to the fishbone diagram.

6.	When would we use Top Down and Bottom up approach?

The top down and bottom up approach is information processing and knowledge.

7.	What is Debono Six Thinking Hats?

Six Thinking Hats is a simple, effective parallel thinking process that helps people be more productive, focused, and mindfully involved.

8.	Assuming that the government of a country in South Africa has asked you to examin how to overcome the limited internet access in their country. Use the 6 thinking hats.
Students to work through this in teams of 3 or 4 and then class brainstorming with tutor.

The White Hat – How many people use the internet and how many people are suffering from the limited internet access problem.

The Yellow Hat -  With having proper internet access in the country the people will be eligible to get their work done much more efficiently and in a proper manner rather than having limited internet access where you’ll be limited using the internet.

The Black Hat – Have a certain amount of usage for everyone using the internet where if you exceed you will have slower internet but not limited internet access.

The Red Hat – I think having limited internet access would be crucial as some people have important work todo.

The Green Hat – You can introduce new methods such as 4G / 5G etc to speed up the processes which would make it much easier for users.


The Blue Hat – This would be the last thinking hat and this is used to see if all the thinking hats are being used and whereas if all the hats are used you will be able to stay away from limited internet access.
